Umm...really? That's just silly.

Dave assisted Tom by doing the job he was paid to do. When things fell apart he was the only one that got funds back to where it belonged as far as I can tell.

We all know that there's no chargeback system built into the BTC blockchain, so whether CC orders were refunded or no the BTCs paid to BTCFPGA were always at risk.

no in reality it isnt. All they have to do is prove that he had something to do with it. which could easily be.

like i said i thank dae for his work i just think in the end he put himself in a bad place if somone really wants to do somthing with btcfpga.

So is this a proposed criminal case or a civil suit? Of course Dave had something to do with it...he was hired by a scammer, when it went south it appeared as though he was the one sounding the alarm and warning Tom's customers to head for the hills. IE he suggested they do chargebacks rather than request refunds, presumably because he feared they'd not be repaid.

If I'm on the jury I calmly thank the plaintiff for bringing the case against Dave and then suggest the plaintiff be tossed in the can for foolishly wasting the court's time.

I logged in at btcfpga.com and noticed my Order Status was changed to: Payment Address Requested

But I never received this email. I also checked the logs of my mailservers.

Did anyone receive this request ?

That is how my status looks as well doggie. Order history says "refund requested" details for the order say payment address requested. I believe this was Dave's doing before he left, I'm sure he will correct me if I'm mistaken. Upon seeing this I immediately sent a BTC repayment address(the same one I paid with) to BTCFPGA, this was on Jan 28. I've received no response of any kind since.

But did you receive the actual email ?

Nope...nothing. In fact I beleive the last time I got an email from anyone at BTCFPGA/bitcoinasic was 11 Dec 2012 sent from Dave Carlson [dave@bitcoinasic.com].

Don't believe someone who use no shift and punctuation. Either he is uneducated or he despises the readers. In both cases his opinion is of no value.

Tom was distancing himself from us lowly investors long ago. Remember when he switched from call me anytime to call Dave anytime and he will set up an appointment for you to talk to me?

Dave did his best to constantly spin events in a "positive" way, stringing everybody along to the best of his ability. TO PREVENT THEM FROM ASKING FOR A REFUND.  Even in that epic thread where LukasBradley told us the truth, if you look at Dave's version he was still spinning, and stalling, and basically misrepresenting the situation, to the "customers" detriment.

Maybe politicians and MSM has conditioned some of you to be too forgiving of "spin" and "pr"?  Anybody else remember how Dave lied to us quite a bit apart from that stuff?

Do you think Dave's "information" updates and his stalling have anything to do with why people didn't ask for a refund until it was too late?

I feel that its the least I can do - I participated in building this up - the right thing to do is see to it that tearing it down is done correctly.

How about you talk with Tom and find out why the BTC refunds haven't been processed?

Tom refunded all the BTC has in stock

Tom does not want to buy BTC at the current inflated price

Mistake, as most of us will settle for a $USD refund in the equivalent BTC at todays rate

Hands up for those who just want to get it over with and move one....

Or, I might try to bribe the author of this post in order to buy their silence (it might be for sale at the right price).

I'm from Germany and got my credit card bill today, my credit card paid order was refunded (but I only bought the DHL shipping upgrade with credit card, so it's only 60 bucks). Of course no sign of my btc refund. I'm getting sick of this shit. Hopefully someone from the US sues the shit out of him.

I still ask myself this: why would anyone put themselves in the hot seat Tom finds himself in, when his identity and that of his immediate family is so easily retrieved?

Threaten a man's family and he will most certainly not ignore you!!

I have in my possession significant details on the subject and his immediate family, which I found in just 30 minutes of searching. Included are names, home and mobile phone numbers, home and business addresses, other properties/investments owned, and properties/businesses managed. Tom's father is far from being a nobody, and they are both well known in their local community. And pictures to prove it.

I am not an affected party and I certainly don't wish anyone physical harm, but I find this matter disconcerting at many levels. I may be interested in releasing the information if there is a public demand for it (for a very small donation).

If I were in Tom's shoes, which I'm happy is not the case, I would immediately start refunding and paying back all debts. Or, I might try to bribe the author of this post in order to buy their silence (it might be for sale at the right price).

Well done idiot boy!!!!!
In a single post you managed to threaten to physically harm  and blackmail a person in public.

Wow Michael - considering how much I worked with you to get you your coins.  I'd remind you of a few of your quotes to me:

Quote from: MichaelBliss (email)
"I think I owe you a major thank you for pushing tom to refund me..."
"I appreciate you and count my lucky stars I got anything back..."
"I'm sorry for you as well, it must be hard dealing with this and maybe
nerve racking for you as well.  You've been exceptionally stand-up
from what I've seen..."
