Can you please add goxtool (http://prof7bit.github.io/goxtool/) in your next release?
I cloned it from git and it doesn't work.
I get the following error.
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./goxtool.py", line 30, in <module>
    import goxapi
  File "/home/minepeon/goxtool/goxapi.py", line 34, in <module>
    from Crypto.Cipher import AES
ImportError: No module named Crypto.Cipher

Code:
sudo pacman -S python2-crypto

The above command did the trick.
Thanks.

P.S. goxtool is very heavy for the rpi. CPU hits 100% when there are many orders from Mt.Gox.

Anyone have success using a similar device with more processing power than the Raspberry pi?
ODroid or others.  This should work right?

http://www.hardkernel.com/renewal_2011/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G135235611947

* 1.7GHz Quad core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore
* 2GB Memory
* 6 x High speed USB2.0 Host port
* 10/100Mbps Ethernet with RJ-45 LAN Jack
* Android 4.x & Ubuntu BSP

I can't get the PI / MinePeon (v6-11) to work with the USB3 hubs (known issue, iirc) - but I do have a http://cubieboard.org/ cubieboard, running Linaro which has a version of cgminer compiled on it (one of the later 3.2.0 releases), which runs the Anker USB3 10port hubs fairly well.  cgminer seg faults, and has to be restarted every day or so, but it is running 36 of the AMUs @ ~50-60% cpu.  The most solid environment I've had w/the 9x AMUs in the Anker hub, is Ubuntu 12.10 on a laptop, running cgminer 3.1.1 - that's run for days w/o so much as a hiccup.

oh, and thanks so much for MinePeon - it's awesome!!

So, I have installed everything and iam waiting for my 3 Singles to arrive.
But I used: MinePeon-2013-06-11.zip now.

Where exactly can I configure which Single device needs to use which pool?
Is this already possible? Thanks.

Hello,

I have downloaded MinePeon-2013-06-10.zip and tried to extract it using WinZip and 7-zip. When I try extracting it with WinZip, I get the message:

Code:
Error in file #1:  bad Zip file offset (Error local header signature not found):  disk #1  offset: 0

When I try extracting it with 7-Zip, I get the message:

Code:
Error: Cannot open file as archive

How can I fix this problem? I'm using Windows XP SP3.

MinePeon-2013-06-11.zip

Neil
Thanks, because sourceforge doesn't seem to have the June 11 version.

Sourceforge seems to be advertising the wrong images as the latest, and the one that it is advertising is corrupt!

I have gone in and deleted the corrupt image but just to be sure here are the links to it;-

http://sourceforge.net/projects/minepeon/files/release/MinePeon-2013-06-11.zip/download

https://mega.co.nz/#!EcQEkSDR!GOf9pS4U2M1HXBp-E__n_G1CcXITvK2_Tuf6w15KaZo

There were important updates to this image regarding stability and Block eruptor support, I recommend that everyone upgrades immediately.

Neil has there been any word on how many Single SCs a RPi can handle? Do you see it becoming a problem if I have 6 Single SCs on 1 RPi or is it just a guessing game right now until BFL ships?

Well, I think i got everything working.... but I now fear the USB hub I bought is a no go for the Rpi.

I purchased this: http://www.amazon.com/Anker%C2%AE-Uspeed-7-Port-Adapter-Chipset/dp/B006TT91TW

which is not listed here: http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals

Is there any way to verify if indeed my USB hub is the issue?  Also... any solid recommendations for hubs?  I only have 3 USB block eruptors at the moment, but may get more.

There is currently a problem with USB 3 but it will most likely be fixed fairly soon.  There is a small list of what work and does not work on the wiki here;-

No smegging idea!

What really seems to take resources though is individual USB connections to miners, the actual mining 'process' seems quite lite compared to that.  With 6 Single SCs you're talking 6 connections and I have had people tell me that the processing capability of the PI starts to fall apart when it gets up to 50 connections (Block Eruptor USB's).

But yeah, I still have no idea but when it comes down to it if it can only handle 3 you can just splash out $50 for another MinePeon setup.

Hmm, I will get 3 Singles which I will hook up to the RPi.
Now just only 1 single is mine and I wanted to have each Single have his own worker.

But I guess then each device needs his own instance of bfgminer to realise this right? And Minepeon is only running one now.
Neil can you help me out here?

So:

Rpi 1 ---- Single 1 -> Worker 1

Rpi 1 ---- Single 2 -> Worker 2

Rpi 1 ---- Single 3 -> Worker 3

OK, so I got everything set up and now another issue arises. When I goto the config page and say "submit" on the pools page, I get an http 500 error, and the raspberry pi doesn't seem to do anything. screen -r doesn't do anything on the pi.

Ahh so it is not that my pi cant read the hub, it is that CGminer cant use the hub... good to know!  I will watch for an update from Kano then.

Thank you for your help, I will set my donation time to a bit more then 15 min because YOU are awesome! cool donation feature btw.
