Hi,

I have currently a bitvps host, but I am not satisfied. I opened a ticket in order to set up the reverse DNS of my host, but the support is so slow... (what are they doing? Setting up an in-addr.arpa should take 2 minutes).

I would like to move to another VPS company accepting bitcoins, with a fast response time when there is an issue/request.

Do you have some advise?

Thank you in advance

Matt

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Interesting. Do you guys have any plans to offer smaller VPS's? $30/mo is a bit much for what I plan to use it for.

Too much expansive for me...

I don't need a lot of resources. I pay 0.93 btc quarterly on bitvps for a very small host. But of course, maybe this leads to a very bad support Sad

I have no complaints with Cinfu, and they have competitive prices too. I didn't contact their support though, so experience may vary.

CIYAM Open (http://ciyam.org/open) is hosted by Bitronic Technologies http://www.bitronictech.net/index.php and I've found both their service and support to be very decent.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I use geekisp.com for my hosting (though I don't use a VPS, they offer them), and their customer service is amazing. I don't think they advertise it, but after Wordpress accepted bitcoin, I asked them if they'd accept it and they signed up with BitPay, so I think they'd be happy to take your bitcoins too. It's a really great small company.

Thank you very much all for your answers.

To sum up: small prices = bad support?

I will try all VPS I guess. IMHO, in the thread dedicated to VPS (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39251.0) , it would be good to do 2 sections, one for cheap and light vps (cinfu, bitvps) and one for the others.

After bitvps and the erratic support, I guess that my next move will be cinfu. I will see if my reverse dns request will be faster lol.

I read that bitvps has just changed all their team. This may be the explanation (or maybe I am fully naive and all cheap vps have a bad support Smiley)
