But a shorter investment time also means more people investing, which in turn leads to either an extended longevity of this scheme, or increased profits for the operator. Either way, it's worse for us.

I dont know about this one, it is using the free script floating around the internet and the stats are likely falsified sooo thats usually a huge red flag.
