Don't forget to signup at the exchange:
https://vircurex.com/orders?alt=ltc&base=btc

Thank you for the coin.  I signed up for an account at the exchange and it is really cool, but I noticed:

Fees
The exchange charges a fee of
    1.0 (LTC) for withdrawing Litecoin

This seems like a lot.  Do you think it will come down any?

Regardless, thank you for the coin!

Their fees do appear lower, .2% versus .5%, and I did not see a withdrawal fee.  However, 420 asked me to join Vircurex, and he was handing out the coin, so I did.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Last I checked BTC-e.com withdrawal fee for litecoin is 0.01 LTC per transaction.

SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH!!

 Wink

But seriously, it's not a threat to bitcoin; it's an alternative. Let the market decide.

I actually signed up to Bitcointalk because of LTC...

Here's my wallet address: LRiJRZjZAdbASuKkvjcLwHACfJCcRyx6xj

Also, a question if someone can answer it: How many kHash should I be expecting to get on a 7770? Right now, I'm using GUIMiner-Scrypt, and it says I'm (only) getting 33khash/s. I have no idea if this is good or bad. Can someone advise? On BTC, I can usually pull 185.1Mhash/s, but I know that scrypt is significantly different.

Hashing litecoin is roughly 3 orders of magnitude (x1,000) slower than bitcoin. However, you should probably be getting better performance than that.
