I've been reading a lot on the forums but never really joined the discussion. What I'd like to know is what is your prediction of the difficulty at the end of 2013 if the ACIS gets released in feb. So far I've seen 30mil-50mil, what do the experienced miners think?

I think it's going to be a gradual increase, but significant jumps each time a batch is shipped. like 4-5mil difficulty increase every 7-10 days or so until everybody's switched over from GPUs to ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits), not ACIS (Advanced CCD Imaging Spectrometer). :-P
