Waves is not in the background as you've mentioned.  Promoting WCT is also promoting Waves since you must own Waves in order to receive WCT.  Waves is like the Mother and WCT is the child.

Waves is not in the background as you've mentioned.  Promoting WCT is also promoting Waves since you must own Waves in order to receive WCT.  Waves is like the Mother and WCT is the child.   

WCT will enter the stock market, or the token we can only exchange the type of p2p sharing, of course it's not good that there is a "split" but it would be very best if we could sell this token on the stock exchange

They won't even be pegged to WAVES, in the way that many assets were pegged to NXT on the Nxt Asset Exchange, because they will trade directly against BTC and other currencies.

The market cap of a token is not dependent on the market cap of Waves. Successful independent tokens will drive the value of WAVES though.

WCT is one of many tokens, as is Incent. None is a replacement for the core WAVES token. An active token system is a pre-requisite for a valuable WAVES token.

What is the formula for calculating value added to waves by "successful independent tokens"?  In other words what are all the avenues that will add value to the waves token itself?

Transaction fees from transfers make staking more valuable. But the big one for me is that most businesses will want to run a node, which means locking 10k WAVES off the market, minimum. It doesn't take too many of those before supply gets squeezed and price has to rise as a result.

Sad to see Waves at this price, even more when you bought at 55k  

Yes, for sure is bad feeling to see any kind of investment at over half less. Crypto is different in one thing, compare to others, here can be profit turn very fast. Like I wrote before, few good posts from Devs and we are at 50k. Personaly Im waiting till end of Q1, what will come here, BTC is rising and we can see waves even lower as is now, same as most other coins. But point is, yes, something has to be done and fast, this price level 20k is far from where waves investors can have good sleep and like to see this coin to be atm.

Absolutly agree, this has to be done fast. I think about Q1, I can be wrong in dev time progress, we need updated official roadmap from Sasha to have something as clear waves direction.
