The price falls and falls and falls. What is the problem ?
panic seems to have taken over all the alts, almost every alt is hit by it. Wait for few days and I am sure there would be a surge in the price of Waves. Hang onto them, they are precious People are converting all the alt coins to bitcoin for getting the free airdrop of bitcoin cash.I am hoping things would improve after the airdrop is over.

If you didn't notice, Everything is falling except Bitcoin. It'll be like this for probably a week or as long as Bitcoin keeps rising.

Wow. That's an interesting article and contains this bit of potentially very significant news: "Waves is to play a central role in the process, cementing its status in Russia’s still sidelined Blockchain development sphere. 'From a technical perspective the project is not hard to realize,” CEO Sasha Ivanov commented. “Much more difficult is the conceptual, organizational aspect.' A lack of efficient legal mechanisms for allowing digital assets to operate at state level is the major issue, he added."

That will be huge for WAVES if it materialises. I am hoping the price to recover soon and then we have the new UI for the distributed exchange incoming. Its the time to accumulate.

If you didn't notice, Everything is falling except Bitcoin. It'll be like this for probably a week or as long as Bitcoin keeps rising. That doesnt make sense, waves is not a competitor to bitcoin. Waves has all its founds in bitcoin probably still more than 20k btc so an increase in bitcoin should in theory increase waves value. So that waves has increase this much more than BTC is more certainly a bad thing. I think the downtrend is mostly due to the fast increase it has made this year, a 10 fold increase at the moment. At its peak (7$) it had an almost 30 fold increase. This is due to correct it self, people who invested at ~0.25$ will for sure sell a bunch when their investment has increase 10-30 fold, would be stupid not to cash out some of the investment. Another possible reason is what another poster said, people are selling altcoins to get their fare share of bitcoin cash. Waves is still a good investment and i keep investing monthly, i will just hold since i believe in this project. Now they even added ETH to the dex, that is super cool! When we have v1.0 of the dex that is probably when waves price will have another huge increase, they just have to get rid of the bugs and improve GUI. Also, imagine when private individuals starts to crowd buy stuff they couldnt afford them selves, like a yacht, summer house, apartment, all types of real estate, a farm. I just hope the waves team are competent enough, last time i checked they just had one front end programmer (one person for such a huge project, that is insane, im sure he is really good, BUT what will happen if he quits/goes on to vacation/becomes sick). View these price falls and corrections as an opportunity to invest more, rule nr1, buy when everyone else is selling (such a simple rule, yet few people really follow it). Im picking up much altcoins i didnt have money to buy in on a few months ago. The big waves is yet to come.

People are hoarding bitcoins to join the free airdrop.

If only wavescommunity could be listed on other exchange other than Tidex and Dex, then maybe more volume and price increase. Also when WCT functionalized we can see more volume and better price

Anybody knows what happend to the byteball distribution to the WAVES holders in the form of WBTC? Is it still happening with every byteball airdrop?

"You might consider it to be some sort of DAO with enhanced security through a certain degree of centralization." "The next phase of WCT operation will involve using the upcoming voting functionality. WCT holders will be able to vote for different projects. This will provide some level of community-based KYC and screening. Thus WCT aims to reward long-term holders, incentivise community engagement and provide added value to new projects hosted on the Waves platform." https://blog.wavesplatform.com/waves-community-tokens-e9e8b5db0b49

Awesome article about this development. This is huge achievement to win such project to develop. Waves is getting more and more better and stronger day by day. It is most undervalued coin in the market right at the moment comparing it to other useless projects. Smart people are accumulating it easy by easy while it is cheap.

Unfortunately, nobody has responded to my question, yet. This thing is, I accidently sent a few ERC20 tokens to this address and I am wondering if there is an< chance to get access to these tokens. It would be great if there would be an option in the Waves client to export the private keys of all supported altcoins so that one could import the coins in a altcoin native client. Today, I noticed that Ethereum has been implemented into the Waves client. After I send my first Eths to my Waves wallet (which worked very well) I am wondering what will happen if I send Ethereum tokens (ERC20) to the Ethereum address displayed in my Waves wallet? Are they gone or do I get Wave-based tokens (assets) for them?

This would be fantastic but I'm not sure if there is currently any technology that allows it in an easy way because there is no direct link between different blockchains. Atomic swaps are what I think you are talking about. You can read more here: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/atomic-swaps-how-the-lightning-network-extends-to-altcoins-1484157052/

There is the latest transaction button beside L (leasing button) on waves light wallet. If you click that button, then it will show you all your pervious transaction list. For me, it shows from the first transaction to until today but not sure whether they limit a certain amount of transaction in the list or it will show complete list.

Waves dex info is now plugged in to Blockfolio. So great to have Waves-based coins on there now.
