I would be supplying something similar to privkey (not the actual privkey) for the seed
would this lessen the security makes my address more vulnerable to brute force attack?
Don't confuse private key and seed. The SEED is the passphrase which gives you access to your funds, the private key is used to sign transactions in the background. Keep both safe and secure at all times. Btw, our word table for the SEED consists of 2048 words which gives us 15^2048 possibilities. With today's technology, a brute force attack is almost impossible as it would take ages (read years) to do. Yes, I didn't mix them up but I was talking about the vanitygen pointed out by bidz the vanitygen is creating seed that looks like privkey instead of set of random words If I use the 'password' as the seed on waves wallet, it gives out that vanity address but too bad I don't know how compile it for win32 because available binaries only for win & linux 64 Address: 3P3KV14kmZRTueqxHXKbgzNCfv3HMsWAVEs
Password: cSLYycKbec4VMh1m9RE1E4WVB6k Oh, misunderstood you then. The password in this case would be your seed, yes. The Lite Client also allows you to create your own SEED with whatever characters and symbols you wish to use but that's really only recommendable to advanced users. |

none of the faucets seem to be working. even wavesgo faucet is telling me I already claim for the hour on my first attempt ---snip---

oh btw... shouldn't it be 2048^15 ? a set of 15 words as paraphrase with 2kb dictionary word Can't really speak for the faucets as they're independent projects. You'd have to get in touch with them and ask why it's not working. Btw, there is also https://wavesmine.com/jumpstart, don't think it's in the Wiki list yet. Yes, you're right. Maths...  |

Why is it that The DEX always says "Nothing is Found" when you type the token of choice to pair with WAVES or Bitcoin?
I do have about 1200 ZRcoin and just wanted to check whether there are market and volume to such coin but it always says Nothing is Found.

Also how do you withdraw bcc ? Why doesnnt this exchange allow alts to be withdrawn

I didn't know that you cannot withdraw altcoin because I haven't tried it yet but sending and receiving is so easy from any exchange wallet to my waves platform everything looks fine, are you talking about dollar to a fiat, you must clarify your post. |

Getting too interesting. Really revolutionary. Its like they migrate the rest of the tokens in the platform. They should be adding the rest with high volume tokens. What are you talking about? Withdraw is available only for the 5 main wallets; Waves, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Euro, USD. All the altcoins have no Withdraw option; they have only Transfer option, which means to send them to another Waves address, not an address of their kind (e.g. to deposit them to another exchange, Polo, Yobit etc, so to sell them there). |
