Does anybody have answer to this question: What is stopping an exchange like yobit to start trading real waves as soon as ico withdraws are processed? They won't have node code but they can manually do withdraws/deposits. Or am I wrong?

Newbie mistake.. well you know why the other bought your lisk for 3x the ICO price. Still, the profits you made earlier will probably help you out now, so we learn and move on

I mentioned that yesterday. The only thing stopping them might be having a proper wallet at their end, so this is going to be a very interesting launch if any exchanges allow trading. Anyone know about a wallet that can be used by an exchange as well?

If they can't set up a full node they would have to keep score of everyone's tokens somehow. The only way I see it is that users would have to withdraw to the same address at yobit and then yobit somehow could know which funds belong to each user. Still, it would be messy and a big risk for errors and people losing funds. Better to wait for a few days and do proper trading at an established exchange.

This is also dangerous: [...]Please make sure that you are on MAINNET before importing any account, using any password or creating addresses with the intention of transferring real tokens. Anyone know about a wallet that can be used by an exchange as well? if yobit can't have the node nor wallet, i think it could be a reason for price to rise. possible? Drawback though is that if price is about $1+ this June 14, users will be dumping their coins hoping they can double their btc this halving.

I guess as you and 110110101 said, you need the full node wallet. And something tells me they are not going to get one, seem a little shady with the IOU's and lack of communication - which I read here on the forums. I don't think the IOU's are very reflective of the actual price, if that is what you mean. It was like that when LISK launched. Though I think Bloombit(?) had a more reasonable IOU price. Holders will dump if the price rise is too much, just normal way things work in the alt space. It takes time for coins to be distributed and if the tech, partnerships, etc. are any good, they will come. Its about sharing

Im excited on what will the price will be. any thoughts? from day 1? I will sell mine.
IMHO lots of people are gonna walk away with money on the table. I'm guessing less than 100k sats it will be such big dumpers , coin will be less than ico price for sure! Yes. There is actually more intresting icos to invest so people will dump even with 2x profit to cash out Like what? doesn't seems to be anything i'd invest in decent ammount... just for participation, maybe 1-2 btc no more... Thanks for info. So mm how much you invested in Waves..like 20btc?

Some people think Rise is interesting Well, it is. All projects are intresting at the moment more or less in long term. I dont say that waves are not worth investing in or im not intrested in that. but im not expecting fast profit because it can hurr and actually slow steady natural grow is much better than fast pump and dump. For example Eth is still intresting and propably still worth investing into.

I don't like the plugin / addon ! Then I guess that you will have to wait for the full node clients to be released at some later point. Some exchanges will be setting these up on the 14th of June, so it can't be too far off i would think.
