I have the option of buying several cheap Socket 775 boards, that have a single x16 pci-e slot, and two x1 slots that could be either cut or use extenders to use x16 cards in them.

Asking price would be around 2btc each shipped anywhere in the US, other countries would be slightly higher just because of shipping.

Model of the board itself would be D915GEV.

If you guys are interested let me know, I can get an initial shipment fairly soon and can go from there!

Is anyone actually using these boards with good results?

I have a lot of old 775 hardware/PSUs around here so I picked one up for $26 but it is not here yet.

- One PCI Express x16 connector supporting simultaneous transfer speeds up to 8 GBytes/sec.
- Two PCI Express x1 connectors. The x1 interfaces support simultaneous transfer speeds up to
500 MBytes/sec.

I am going to try 2 (hopefully 3) 5830s on this board. Not sure if the card slots/bus can take it.
