Well, it looks like Burbank is winning out so far.  How about we meet at the classic Bob's Big Boy at 4211 W Riverside Dr?  As for what to talk about -- Bitcoin of course!  I'd love to hear what people have been discovering about this new tech and what potentially new developments might come of it (For example, I've been following the BitcoinX "colored coins" project with interest and think it has massive potential to disrupt the equities/securities market), and also hear any experiences anyone has had running a BTC related business.  I'd like meetings like this to become more commonplace as it's vital for finding connections and just plain making shit happen.  Grin

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I'm game for anything as long as it's in the daytime because transportation in the night is a bitch in LA so what time should we meet?

Wife is leaving town that day so I might be able to actually go.  I would prefer a location closer to downtown or even towards OC since there would be some peps that could come up from SD and the OC area.

We can always do El Toritio at 4012 W Riverside Dr nearby instead.  There usually isn't much of a wait there for lunch.

For those suggesting DTLA, I'm still open to it if others are willing to go there.  Where specifically does LA2600 usually meet?

I'm seeing lunch in some replies, and some people posting 12AM.  I'm assuming this would be in the evening and later into the night since most of have to work (not me woohoo).

Any place where LAPD won't fire 100 rounds into your truck or there's no possibility of some crazed 20 year old attempting to carjack you is fine by me. Cheesy

OK, let's stick with Burbank for tomorrow's meetup and we can plan DTLA for the next one.  I think El Torito is the better place to meet and I will arrive there between 1-1:30 PM.  All those who plan on going please confirm.  Cool

Agreed.  I haven't heard back from the others so it looks like it would just be two.  Let's reschedule.  Sad
