Is it possible, that you open your own thread to discharge your disput? It stinks slowly, that you fill up each thread with your fight garbage! Thanks in advance!
Figured someone has to step in and get both these guys but of the ASIC threads, where the majority of posts are offensive, insulting, or downright childish. Its gotten to the point where I think we have all realised that you guys are not trolling, and are actually immature enough that you need a shared time-out corner.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

This thread is a complete waste of time. PuertoLibre will never troll Inaba here as he does not have an audience.

If you want me to ask a Mod to toss the posts I'd be more than glad to do that. But you and the shark are correct in the assumption that I don't much care to talk to Inaba. The BFL thread has gone mostly silent since Avalon started the process of shipping.

the threads should be informative, not used for personal bickering and tug-of-war. Ive seen WAY too many posts by the two of you (others are guilty too, including myself at times) that have <20% relevance to the topic at hand, often 0%.
That is the reason why the BFL thread is 130 pages long, because inaba wants to insult critics and get involved in arguments. The avalon thread has [generally] been more on-topic, and is many pages shorter.

To date, Avalon has released about as much evidence of shipping as BFL. Weren't they going to ask their customers what shipping method they wanted? What happened to that? Why do the recipients of the first two units still not have tracking numbers? I'm not saying they haven't shipped, but you shouldn't treat what Avalon says as gospel any more than what BFL says. It just shows a blatant bias.

Avalon's shipping costs almost doubled. So I get it why they decided to ship them (?) in the cheapest manner possible, and not invite customers to pick their shipping method.

If that is so, then it doesn't bother me. As long as it gets here before Feb 10th.

I can't help but notice a distinct lack of Inaba vs PuertoLibre bickering in this thread. Something should be done.

I never agreed to it. I also don't like beating red headed step children who throw tantrums. Inaba is a foregone conclusion in the loathed among loathed. He turned his reputation inside and out [all on his own]. Why enrage him any further? Let the man have his peace of mind.
