Simple Bitcoin Miner Programmer Question, how to "getWork()" from SlushPool ?

I was wondering if this particular mechanism exist on Slush's pool.
Could I sent to the server a HTML POST URL with the UserID, Password, solved nonce [nonce will be empty on first send] and in turn the Server sent my application an object with three variables, midstate,hash1 and target and then when the nonce is solved I send it back via POST with Variable UserID, Password and Solved Nonce ?
