Verstappen was leading today and had great chance to win and then this accident happened:
https://mobile.twitter.com/F1/status/1061696911617404928
Occon tried to unlap himself but he hit Verstappen. It was fault of Occon, but on the other hand Verstappen didn't left enough place for Occon.
And after race Verstappen showed very unprofessional behaviour:

It was sheer bad luck for Verstappen these things do happen in these high tempo races, however I feel Occon should have done better. I think Verstappen behaved immaturely, and I can't believe that the crew was just standing there. I believe he would have gotten away had he just exchanged words, but he laid a hand on Occon not once but thrice, and that's not acceptable at all he'll be banned and fined.

True i was hopping for him to win but like you said this is race rhythm and he just made mistake that cost him win.
However this can be very good experience for him and his carrier.

I did not watch the race on Sunday but I wish I did. I am seeing a lot of hilariois fun videos on youtube and social media about the fight between Ocon and Verstappen. I don't support neither of them so my opinion is neutral but I think on fault here is Ocon.

Although you maybe faster because of new tires you should not crash into the race leader when you try to unlap yourself.

@swogerino. Esteban Ocon had every right to fight back and unlap himself, but agreed that it was his fault. But Max should also have been aware that he had more to lose than the other driver.

That should be the correct way to approach the situation, I reckon.

Yeah I know but as I said since you are one lap behind he should have been a bit more cautious against the leader. I am no fan of Verstappen or anyone else, I just like real racing and I know these things happen but the race would have been different if the crash was avoided, not that would have changed anything in the leaderboard. Overall it was a beautiful season so far.

I'll agree the fault definitely lies with Ocon here, but then such accidents do take place in these races. I'm expecting Verstappen to fight for the title next season. In my opinion Vettel has been disappointing this season, he's not mounting a significant challenge hence I feel he won't be winning it next year, my money is on Verstappen to dethrone Hamilton. This particular season we'll saw Hamilton win it with barely any challenge, I feel the new season will be of Verstappen. What do you'll think can he dethrone Hamilton? Or will it be Hamilton season again.

Yeah, you don't owe me money, same like I don't owe you Cheesy
Brave prediction about Red Bull. I'm sceptical about them and Honda engines in upcoming season. Maybe we should wait at least until pre-season tests? Cheesy

Last race in motogp was as it should been only that some riders didnt crash but race was with wet conditions and remind me on formula1 race in Monte Carlo 20 or more years ago when only 5-6 of the finish the race.

Shame for Rossi he had paste but win it good for Dovi he ended like he started, great result for KTM driver Pol Espargaro finishing on podium.

I guess I don't owe anybody here any money?  Lololol.  Ferrari finished above RBR, but Verstappen finished above Ricciardo, yeah?

I think RBR could finish above Ferrari next year...  Wanna go at it again Ltu_btc?  Grin
Yeah, you don't owe me money, same like I don't owe you Cheesy
Brave prediction about Red Bull. I'm sceptical about them and Honda engines in upcoming season. Maybe we should wait at least until pre-season tests? Cheesy

Sure let's wait.  Wink

I'm pretty excited with RBR's move with Honda tho.  I think they may have some development that McLaren wasn't able take full advantage of.

Anyone have any information that Kubica will returning to former team and for me this is good information and think he will give at least some good technical information about car at least. This will be good and maybe some good moves for Williams teams hope they will be good with him next season.

Great news! I'm so happy for Robert, he was one of the my favorite drivers in past. But honestly, I don't expect amazing results from him. First of all, a lot of time passed since he raced in F1, he is 34 years old and his prime already in past. And his hand injury also have impact. Now Williams have worst car in F1 and they need to seriously improve it to be competetive with teams like Haas or Toro Rosso. Offcourse, Kubica is much better choice than Stroll or Sirotkin.

Hey yes it's confirmed he's indeed racing for Williams, an interesting choice I must say he has lots of experience but at 34 years, and those injuries he's carrying I'm not sure how this comeback will go down in history. While I respect his resilient to come back despite that horrific crash, I don't expect to see any wonders for him or Williams. If Williams really wishes to make something of his comeback, then they seriously need to upgrade their cars which they haven't done in a while now.

^  Williams prolly knows more than us about Kubica's real situation.  That or he could be backed by some Polish billionaire and is now a pay driver.  Cheesy

You think this could be the case. Who knows but this is something to look for. More concern to me will be Red Bull and Honda cooperation next season. Kubica is just another driver in the circus or more he is bring to maybe somehow get some better car for season after next one. This is my opinion on this.

^  Pretty confident in the Newey magic.  Lol.  But really, I think they have something up their sleeve for 2019.  I mean why the switch to Honda?  Seems too drastic.  And if their taking a gamble then Newey prolly really has something going on.
