Anybody wanna bet 20 USD vs me? I say RBR will end up having more points than Ferrari this year? I guess LTU_btc got dibs on this but if he doesn't want to, anybody trusted is welcome to take it. I'm in! Maybe this season Red Bull car is good enough to compete with Ferrari, but I don't believe that they will have more points. Main reason of that is their second driver Gasly, I don't think that he can bring big number of points in every GP all season long. Leclerc looks much better as second driver. Nice! Quoting your post as confirmation that the bet is on. I'm not really gonna follow F1 as closely as I used to but this bet could make me. GL HF!

I reckon the warmer track temperatures of Bahrain might be what Ferrari needs to win the race. Barcelona had warmer temperatures and they did very good in testing before the season started.
In any case, if Ferrari ends behind Redbull again, I reckon that the Honda engine might be more powerful than what was first thought of it.
Hey I feel it’s just not about the tracks it’s about the winning mindset that Ferrari has been lacking since quiet a while now. Also did you hear that Williams have found a major problem with their car, and they won’t be able to fix it anytime soon. It’s also pertinent to note that McLaren has threatened to quit F1, I really doubt they’ll quit as this threat looks more like a negotiation technique to me. Ferrari has always been in a fightning mindset since Sebastian arrived, however. They almost had a championship season if they did not have team and driver errors on the 2nd half last year.

Charles Leclerc takes his first career pole position in Bahrain GP, Vettel is second, Hamilton third, Bottas fourth. So far in qualification and practice sessions we saw total dominance of Ferrari. If they won't make mistakes, I think they're going to win easily. I just hope to not see team orders from Ferrari and they will let their drivers to race.

Hey I remember bbc.reporter saying how the Bahrain tracks will work in favour of Ferrari, and I have to admit I was wrong to say it won’t make any difference. I feel this race is Ferrari’s to loose, it’ll be interesting to see whether Charles or Vettel will win it. Also I’m sure Hamilton will try to cause an upset, but with Ferrari’s speed he may be unable to do it.

What a disappointing race for Frerrari, they were faster than Mercedes but something went wrong. Vettel spinned while fighting with Hamilton and few moments later he lost his front wing. Leclerc was first, had big advantage against Hamilton, but then engine problems occured and he lost all his pace. He dropped to 3rd place just in matter of few laps. If there would be no safety car deployed in last lap, Leclerc would been finished only 4th. He really deserved to win today. And Mercedes are very lucky today with double podium. And wtf happened to both Renault drivers - their engines died almost at the same moment. Very strange moment.

Sebastian Vettel decided to make all the mistakes on the 1st half of this season and be over with it instead of doing it similar to his last season's performance where he did all the mistakes in the 2nd half hehehe.
I reckon Sebastian might leave Ferrari after his contact expires on 2020.

Probably true. Schumi son tester after this race for Ferrari and he was to good, yesterday tested for Alfa Romeo and he was 6th. He definitely got thing ot two from his dad. If Vettel is to leave Schumi son is first in line for that seat and with this Leclerc he could be next Ferrari team that they are so eager to have.

That's really bad attitude. If you want to be a champion you try not making mistakes. By moving the mistakes that he made in the 2nd half to the 1st half will not make him a champion. Just see how Hamilton has improved his attitude all these years and see what he has achieved.

I don’t understand what has happened to Vettel and Ferrari both are so good, but on the track both are disappointing us. I feel you’re right it’s time for them to part unless he suddenly changes himself and starts winning which I highly doubt. Also it’s interesting to see Schumi son progress I feel it’ll be bit too soon for him to step up in Ferrari’s hot seat, but I feel in coming years he’ll definitely win them titles when he rides for them.

I think that Leclerc has a brilliant future ahead of him at Ferrari and he did overtake his team mate also Ferrari favourite boy in even conditions on the track. For me that says a lot that this newcomer to Ferrari to be taken very seriously although it is the first time Ferrari trusr someone without titles before.
Schumacher and Vettel were both already World Champions before joining Ferrari.

Leclerc has shown great skills and abilities and he can evolve to be a champion I hope that Ferrari will not keep him behind Vettel because they think that Vettel is a better driver for winning the title. We have seen that in the past and I didn't see it working. It is bad for the sport.

I think that Vettel just can't handle the pressure and this is why he makes these mistakes, especially when fighting with Hamilton for position on the track. In previous season he made many mistakes like spinning on the track and it cost him champion title. This season we see same thing. I agree that he may leave Ferrari after end of current contract if he won't win champion title. Leclerc is a grest talent, he is very mature considering his young age. He is the future of Ferrari. About Mick Schumacher - it's interesting to follow his progress, but I thing it's a bit too much hype about him. But I have no doubts that we will see him in Ferrari after few years. Maybe when Vettel contract will expire?

His contract expire next year and so far he didnt show what he could do. Last season he had title in his hand and then in his home track he ended up off track losing point and loosing gap between him and Hamilton. Mick and Leclerc are Ferrari future. Just hopefully for them if it comes to this that they wont fight each other but that they will work as team. Both have more then good potential and think that Ferrari needs to wait two more years until they have again some champ in there team..

This is indeed a very sad happenings to Sebastian why all a sudden of mistakes being made. What do you think is it really a mistake or it was really done intentionally? We so noy know team's grievances but I think that Sebastian has the problem with the team or either vice versa.

Found out something interesting seem like Hamilton will retire after his contract expire or maybe after this season. His contract is like Vettels expire at the end of 2020 season, Lewis said that he is after some more challenges dunno on what he mean only thing that is mentioned is that he wanted to try formula E. Same as this one but with electric engines. If this comes to be and Lewis goes out as well as Vettel, then what could be drivers sets in Mercedes and Ferrari. For Ferrari believe that we could see Leclerk and Shumis kid and for Mercedes this is try mystery.
After Alonso leaving F1 this could be very sad to see. On some point we could see some new kids. This is something that we could guess who will be in Mercedes in 2021.

Interesting. If Hamilton will retire, it would be terrible news for F1. He is face of current F1 and if he will leave, it can cause decreasing popularity of F1, especially in UK which is their main market. Lewis already achieved everything what he can in F1, so maybe he want some new challenges. But Formula E wouldn't be best choice IMO. I tried to watch these races several times and it was so boring.

@LTU_b, @slocker. I would then speculate that Sebastian might make the transfer to Mercedes. However, with the new engine specifications beginning on 2021, he might be driving for only the 2nd fastest car again hehehehe.

Seb is going to make a transfer to Mercedes only if Hamilton retires. If not, the team doesn't have any benefit of having two drivers that compete for the title. It will bring only conflict.

Funny one. You think he is having bad luck since he left RB. Probably true. He had everything in his hands last season and he personally blow that out. We will see seems like this 2021 will be huge for everything in F1, from rules and regulation to teams and drivers. But this is still to early to say anything on this subject.
