I was pleasantly surprised to see some critical posts on forums.butterflylabs.com. Which made me think: Josh has been put on a leash (again) - and the days of censorship are over. Unfortunately it seems they are still deleting posts. Just not every critical post. I assume it's because there are simply to many of them - and they don't dare to delete them all (-> too many people would complain about censorship). This one is gone by now. Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.
