What are you saying? Are you saying they won't refund after January first? Now you are telling me that BFL might refund out of good will, regardless, aren't you? Now isn't that nice.  Payments made for pre-orders of ASIC based products now under development should be considered non-refundable until products begin shipping or 1 January 2013, whichever is earlier.
That means they planned to start sending refunds after January first. They actually changed their minds and refunded people as soon as they asked, and continue to do so. I'm still not sure what you were trying to say... |

How many days can you do chargebacks on credit cards for ? 3 Months! There is a reason why it is 3 months. Paying money in advance for pre-orders if extended beyond the 3rd month, you are not a customer anymore. You are an investor or a creditor! |

As for prototypes:
I would be showing them to fucking every anti BFL troll to silence them once and for all..... If i had one, even if its not working nor working as good as expected just to prove a point!
But there is nothing (or next to nothing, like some PCB Pics that were in BTC Magazine) about that?

Uh, my account is older than yours... I "popped up" when I heard about ASICs shipping "soon". I never believed BFL would pay people to do puppet accounts, but you are a highly suspicious fella.
Suspicious how? For not attacking them at every possible opportunity? For accepting the reality that startups usually deliver late (especially on ASIC products)? |

I'm still not sure what you were trying to say... Oh I had that wrong. Perhaps because the usual method is the other way around that something is refundable until the period expires. The silly thing is that, under payment processing there is an expiration time for a refund, so in a way BFL are getting the maximal control over fund with their method, not bad. |

CES is packed full of shit that doesn't work yet. If everyone goes there with non working things, than its OK to do so? Most of the stuff at least works in some ways... Many company are proud to show even a not perfectly working prototype! How else do you attract new investors? |

No, they don't. They do not honor full BTC refunds. If you mean that you paid 100btc 6 months ago and intend to receive 100btc today ... go astray, do not be a hustler. The price is fixed in dollars and pay their conversion in bitcoin. Today, we do the conversion of dollars to bitcoin and is what you get, if bitcoin is revalued will be less, but the value is the same. |

Why the hell not just stick some FPGAs in there, hook them up to the Nexus and go "It's an FPGA rig now, but we'll have ASICs soon." Much better than a box of fans and space(rs). Or, heck, just take some PCBs, mount them (aside from the ASIC of course), glue some heatsinks on them and stick that in there. "It's not running yet, but boy will it be good when it's done". Nope, better show of a box of fans. |

At first the majority of the posts made with this account are concerned with ASICs, in particular BFL, your being online to post ratio is incredible. That the account is old doesn't necessarily rule out the possibility, it would just mean that extra steps were taken to make it appear legitimate. Transferred account ownership, with or without consent is one possibility, another is direct involvement with BFL or maybe you are just doing them a service payed on a per post basis. I cannot possible enumerate all the ways this could happen, and you could just be a genuine fanboy with an asic preorder and higher than usual emotional attachment. Still you are suspicions. |
