that's dope I think I would buy a shirt that said "I am Satoshi Nakamoto, inventor of bitcoin" with a nice big bitcoin logo on it somewhere. I can't imagine paying for it in anything other than bitcoins though

@dacoinminster -- but if you write "inventor of bitcoin" it ceases to be an inside joke.

yeah, the more i look at it, get rid of "Nakamoto". if u replace "o" in Satoshi, the Bitcoin will be centered in the shirt and by getting rid of Nakamoto, its less cluttered.

If people just google satoshi, they won't find out about Bitcoin.

yeah, it depends on if u have a purpose for the shirt. if u want general public to become curious they might recognize the Bitcoin if u made it large in "Satoshi" next to their google search of Satoshi. if u really want this to be an awareness generator i can understand adding Nakamoto. i just like it for fun and as an insider joke as well as for optimal design. its too cluttered with Nakamoto as far as i'm concerned.

+1 for original idea :-)
even with the bitcoin as the Os in Satoshi, that won't be super obvious at a distance. you want to come across this guy in the street and be like, whoa... are you... that guy?
don't you? :-)

I would guess that outside of this forum, less than 1 person in 1 000 000 would get it. People would just think " OK, you're satoshi. That's nice, Mr. Satoshi. Good luck" That said, I really really want one. Even scribe's simple helvetica shirt would work. Just pay for it in BTC...

You guys are hitting on an issue we debate a lot when coming up with bitcoin shirt ideas (and to a lesser extent, other shirts). Should the shirt be a signal only to others in the know or should a shirt be a vehicle for introducing people to the concepts of bitcoin. I think there's a market for both, but the latter is what we mostly try to design.

Can you make one that says "I am NOT Satoshi Nakamoto" ?
Good try, Satoshi.

Pretty cool but not $30.99 cool. Front and back full color printing on black? Not cheap. But what if I said I'd sell you one for only 1.1 Bitcoins, including shipping? Ironwolf

I will be using all the money I make to build a Mining machine. Let me know what you guys think, and if you want anything special let me know. I can preatty much make anything. This is just the beginning ! Purchase at the temporary URL: http://www.cafepress.com/bitcointeeshirts.546352041cIn case any of you were wondering the guy in the picture isn't a real guy. It is a special that National Geographic did, where they compiled every single face in the world, and came up with this one being the most common. http://www.businessinsider.com/most-common-face-in-the-world--national-geographic-2011-3Black SHIRT COMING FAST.
