I am interested in bitcoin and crypto currencies. I am keen to provide some commonly liked goods for sale. Can you reply by saying whether yes you would like to buy perfume or no and perhaps reasons.

In most cases I would support any business venture but with bitcoin availability issues being so great almost any bitcoin based purchases are going to be slow if any at all. I did a few tests on some websites and drove a few thousand bitcoin users to them and posted in the center of the page they see a large ad for a shop that everything inside was 50% off for bitcoin users.

 There was almost no traffic even with that incentive, not even curiosity of the products offered. I had another site where a video of hitler sells his bitcoins was center and the rate of hits on that were far above 20 to 1 against the shop.

 It tells me that people who have finally gotten some of the coins have 0 interest in parting with them overall. The only markets that do well are the usual ones that always have a customer base and that is drugs, gambling and porn. Other than that I would like you or anyone to show me where bitcoins are being spent other than computer servers and web hosting really.

 To the people who I talk to I know I keep repeating this issue but bitcoin is currently a commodity and not a currency. It is much like trying to buy lemonaid with a gold bar. You need a scale, a current price for it and then weigh it out. Same applies with bitcoin, once they go through all the trouble to get it they do not want to let it go.

It depends, but many Bitcoin exclusive sites I've seen run pretty well. See Bitcoinstore and the BeesBros for example. It boils down to the products and prices offered, as well as the overall package. Those sites that fail aren't doing well to begin with actually, and offering Bitcoin as a payment option won't magically boost sales.

How can I find the sales volume of those sites? Would really like to know some that are doing well and could look at the overall system in place.

Lets say its experiment. I probably even going to add % percentage to cover for the rate volatility. I saw Mtgox is doing large volume - which btc are spend on none SR goods hard to tell I am planning to make medium size magneto site and then provided people here express interest accept orders with btc - via emails initially.

As to brands most of well known male and female brands around 4000 varieties.

But wow I relly need to update the prices, since bitcoin has gone up the balance is way off. But I was not offering them on the bitmit setting it was on site store.

 That was my main thing if I seen them even go into the store I could consider the items or the prices and such but the lack of even looking was set my mindset.

But after getting the name of the site bees brothers and looking into it I have to say they are an awesome site and they seem to be doing well, over the holidays was a goldmine for them and the customer service they offer is incredible.

 Thanks for the link and I will add them to coinvisitor line up for free to them, they are an asset to bitcoin for sure. That is my main thing about selling in bitcoins. Incentive is key for any and I have a feeling the personal approach they take to their business is the true incentive besides the great product.

I don't have the exact figures, but I'd say they're doing well judging from the amount of feedback here.

Simply dropshipping from China isn't going to work well IMO. You need to work out what people want, and then you can start offering them for Bitcoins. The community is more geared towards electronics, commodities, digital goods and services at the moment. Good food is also a great niche. (baklava, honey etc)
In fact, people is more eager to spend Bitcoins as it is easy to mistake it for play money. I do feel less guilty when I'm spending bitcoins compared to other sources.

I wouldn’t call it a gold mine, but from Bitcoin Friday to Christmas, we were quite busy with a mix of bitcoin and fiat orders.  It was enough to encourage us to continue this insane business another year.  We make enough to cover expenses, and have yet to be paid any wages in these past 5 years.  Any profits we make go into purchasing more bees and equipment…which is a slow process in that we don’t want to take any loans.  Luckily this is a part time project.

The real value we (wife and I) get out of this is that the kids work their butts off and are learning various things about running a business (and not living on the dole).  The plan for this year, is that the kids will get paychecks (wife and I will continue to volunteer as slave laborers).

Of course with btc exchanging over $20 at the moment...maybe this is better than a gold mine

Most perfumes give me headaches, so that is my reason I wouldn't purchase perfume.  The one exception is Hoppes #9
