you just need to show the results of bitcoin, I do that too, and some people who like to mock surprised with it.
I'm with you on this one. At first my friends are mocking (well, not really mocking but more of like they don't see the purpose or the point) me whenever I use or accidentally mention Bitcoins. I showed them how much bitcoins I have and how much their value is increasing from nearly doing nothing (just holding). They were surprised and kind of jelous that I was getting quite a profit from it. |

Just don't get deviated. Try to make people understand it else just leave them on their way. You are not going to lose anything. We get benefited from it, when they find this trusted people would accept it and stops mocking.

Yeah why should we waste our time behind time, as we all know that time is money cannot afford to waste it, either in real life or in collecting bitcoins. |

Me too I always experience it. Not my friends because they don't know about bitcoin but my own mom always mock me. When I told her that I can earn through bitcoin and it will be the future currency of the world, she always tells me that it's a scam. She always scolds me when I'm using the computer all day trying to earn some bitcoin.

No need to worry its a generation gap and it will take time for them to adopt it, as they are not tech friendly at this stage but if you explain them will they will surely support you. |

I think it is normal because people always mock of what they know anything about and same is with bitcoins when we tell to new listeners they react the same way and mock of us but with the passage of time it will end since it is getting so much famous day by day.

Anyone of you had this kind of situation ? personally,whenever I start speaking about Bitcoin and how it will go to the moon and that kind of stuff , some of people start mocking (Friends , Family etc ..) .
I personally don't know how to respond in most cases honestly , I just believe bitcoin will become successful .
It's because you're mixing different things together. Yes, BTC as technology is cool. However that doesn't guarantee that it will go to the moon. You're forecasting the future, which is basically impossible to do correctly. Just say them that this technology is cool and it may or may not have a great future. Let them decide for themselves if BTC will be successful. |

I just tell people that I work in drug trade, money laundering, tax dodging and pyramid schemes. That saves them the trouble.

 I guess it is the best way of dealing with this kind of conversations. However, if one truly believes in Bitcoin all these mocking shouldn`t be problem. Just let them speak, time will definitely prove us all right. |

I sometimes get folks that find the concept of bitcoin hard to understand on it's own let alone the fact that there is a chance they could bery well make money by owning some. |

I've just starting flat out ignoring what people say. It's what the news told them about bitcoin. What can I say to them? Who cares. Keep watching whatever version of the news they want to show you today... Not my problem you're years behind. |

Simple life truth: A person with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds. I think this should be the motto of bitcoin.
When I talk about bitcoin to people who are stupidly ignorant and are deaf to my solid arguments I simply ignore them, you should too.
In a couple years you will be the one laughing.
