I wanted to remind miners that Unobtanium is available for Merge Mining with Bitcoin, so you can earn UNO while you hunt for a Bitcoin block.  The hash rate is still relatively low for UNO at this time.

Thanks to the pool who started merge mining UNO today. UNO is currently at 1.7 PHS.  (1,700 THS). 
The highest difficulty I've ever seen for a UNO block is in block 826747:  205M.

It looks like UNO was added by a new miner, mining to address uMoeRRBFLCvjz...

Lets hope this continues, and thank you, whoever you are! Identify yourself and I'll be glad to add your pool to the website.

I've done well at MMPool.  Since their server reconfiguration, I don't believe they have added back UNO or other merge coins, have they?

I would make an educated guess that people are using ASICs, since it used the SHA-256 algorithm, and is merge-mined with BTC.   Nobody (effectively) mines BTC with GPUs these days.

Yes, UNO was fair launched in 2013. It is SHA256, with fast 3 minute blocks. Pools mining Bitcoin can also merge mine Unobtanium.

You could mine it with a GPU, but it would be a waste of resources with no return.

Just noting for the record that UNO's mining hash today hit 2 PHS!  That's 2,000 THS.
Difficulty rose as high as 91 million.

You're right, the price of UNO is clawing back. There were two large whale exists a few months ago and also the Cryptsy uncertainty. The whales have swam off, and now the end of the Cryptsy debacle is in sight.

Being merged mined, Uno's hash rate is also linked to the price of Bitcoin. The higher the BTC price, the more hash is burned, and that also helps UNO's network.   But when Bitcoin prices are not so steady, merge mining UNO adds to profitability and keeps things interesting for miners.  

Unobtanium is a 3 year old coin with strong network, good exchanges, ready markets (200 pairings between altcoins and Uno on Cryptopia), solid community, and miners are appreciated. Join us by merge mining UNO.

The minimum block reward is now .01 Uno, since block 1,042,00, about .90 USD per block. 3 minute block target. Difficulty is reasonable.

This coin is 6 years old, and at age 6 it is clearly more mature than your insults.
