So we now have 14 public servers, which is the most ever!
I just took a few minutes to make a little map showing their physical locations, if you're curious about that:

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Nice Smiley Is that link dynamically created? If so, can I put it on electrum.be?

Unfortunately, it's not dynamic, just a manual snapshot. I guess that a developer
with some basic Google Maps experience could do it in a snap, though. I just wanted
to launch the idea and hopefully someone will build upon it Smiley

DNS problems at your end?
For me it shows the correct page (Electrum Server Status Monitor)
Nice page by the way.

No, the problem is not on my end but still DNS related. You get simply different pages for 'arche.jooz.net' if you are either on IPv4 or IPv6 (at home I'm dual-stacked).
But anyway I agree - the "Electrum Server Status Monitor" is a nice page.

Thanks for the update. Nice map! Berlin has two servers BTW (eco-electrum.no-ip.org and electrum.no-ip.org). They look like one on the map, maybe you can move them next to each other like the Hetzner-Cluster

Here's the latest update (27 servers as of today!):

Note: Don't expect 100% accuracy.

Sure, I'll try to fix it.

I really liked this idea so spent a few minutes turning this into a dynamic map. This one refreshes the peer list every minute or so and uses the free Maxmind data to geolocate from server IP address.

Amazing!  Did it really take you only a few minutes to do this?
Care to share how?

Glad you liked it. I put the code up at https://github.com/206industries/electrum-map.

It's fairly simple: there's a small Python script (generate.py) that gets the peer list from an Electrum server and saves it to a file. There's a second html/js pair that renders the actual map, puts the pushpins on it, all based on the output from the first. It actually turned out to be easier than I was expecting!
