Do you Still believe in Fiat?

I am not believe in fiat/paper money anymore becouse I know if we use fiat our economy can crash only in few day like what happen in asean at 1997.

So what are you using to buy your families grocery, for paying your utility bills and for paying everything you want to purchase. Don't tell me that you are using bitcoin for all of that because we know that there are still a lot of stores that are not yet accepting bitcoin. Because we don't have choice but to keep on believing and using fiat.

You are uninformed at best and misinformed at worst

If you order one of the numerous Bitcoin payment cards, you can use it pretty much in the same way you use fiat money. That is, to buy your groceries, pay your utility bills or purchase anything you may ever want to purchase. So I have no other option but to tell you exactly that, namely, that you do have choice whether to keep on using fiat or switch bitcoins. Though it may just not make much sense to spend your precious bitcoins on everyday expenses, but this is another story

That stands true in first world countries but in most places in third world countries, it's quite hard to use your credit card/bitcoin card/ATM card to buy stuffs. Fiat is still the one that you should use (there's no other option). I'm talking about places that do not have malls. It's usually just places in the city and in malls that accepts payment directly from your card. I've also seen people (from movies) using their smartphone + some additional device to swipe your card. I've never seen anything like that in my place, honestly.

I don't trust fiat but that's right, there are so many countries/places where you can't pay by using ATM cards moreover bitcoin payment cards (they don't know what bitcoin is)  you need fiat money obviously. Until bitcoin become a famous medium of exchange in every corner of the world, we still have to use fiat. In my place there is no any merchant that accepted bitcoin except online stores but the choice is very limited now, so I just saving my bitcoin in case of usefulness in the future or if I travel to first world countries such as in Europe, UK, US or Brazil.

I dont think that many people believe in a fiat as you had put it. They are just forced to use it by taxes and by a force of neccesity. Those who thinks fiat is awesome just fit into a cathegory of a stockholm syndrom victims.

I still believe in fiat of course because I use it in daily transactions such as buying and selling goods or products. Fiat is the primary currency now and then. It will not be replaced by other projects because it is easy to use. Even there will be new payment methods now and in the future, fiat would still exist.

Yes, Fiat is still necessary for our life. Without it will not work fully exist in the state. I believe in Bitcoin and fiat.

Well, That's the ugly fact in this world. But, Many people also just use the available and the easiest one and not going to move for better economy (Though, i don't sure if believing in bitcoin would increase their economy) Maybe because of only fiat which could cover all offline activities while bitcoin can't. there's no one who willing to carry gold and weigher everywhere

Well we need to accept the fact that bitcoin is not yet adopted worldwide that's why we don't have choice but to keep on using fiat money unless you are living to a place where people are fully adopting bitcoin, but I don't know if there is a place like that. you are absolutely right. About Bitcoin knows very few people. Only a few percent of the total world population. But Fiat everyone knows. That is why it is urgent for a long time

Fiat is a scam and everyone in the Cryptcurrency community knows it. What is telling for me that Fiat is being phased out and will be even more restricted is the move by Government agencies across the globe  to eliminate large sum notes such as the 50 & 100 dollar bill in the US.

I believe India just eliminate their large denomination notes as well.

Fiat is pretty paper but an ugly currency.

It's not about believing in it but it's because of not having any choice or other alternative that we use it and hence looked upon as being believing in it. If we had some other better, globally and widely accepted alternative which also had the value as much as the fiat has today we wouldn't even be using it this much.

Digital assets are based on internet. Till now only 40% of world population have access to it. More over internet only will not persuade people use bitcoins in everyday transactions. Education and information is a very good start but for older people it is not enough. IMO next or after next generation will not believe in fiat currency anymore.

You are right, but I expect that to happen within our generation itself. Because the rapid adoption of new technologies like mobile phone and spread out of Internet are assuring this. Technologies are usually getting spread more easily. So people will easily switch over to digital payment system and will forget fiats.

not so fast people can not refuse from a centralized exchange. Too few people know about it. Infrastructure is also not yet ready for it. Yes, in the future people will use digital currency and forget about paper money. But this will not happen soon

While I don't believe in fiat I have to go along with the scam because everything I own is paid for and is valued in fiat. Most of us are screwed, you have the right idea with saving crypto, I do too and precious metals.

Off course, we should believe on fiat, fiat is a basically currency which we are using in all our matters, and it is useless talk that if bitcoin, i mean any crypto currency has come than it doesn't mean that we have no believe on fiat currency. Also fiat currency has no comparison with crypto currency. Both have different ways, but still fiat is better way than crypto.

i think most of the people still believe on fiat, as fiat is the basic currency of every state, whereas bitcoin is still not too much popular everywhere bitcoin still need introduction, so that people know about the importance of bitcoin and start using it.

Same with you i think everyone is still believing in fiat because of daily transactions like buying in the market. Bitcoins cant replace fiat but no one knows in future bitcoin would dissappear many years from now but hopefully not.
