I did that, and put out a support ticket on http://support.avalon-asic.com and got a positive reply, see above.

oh shit, i just paid based on this

[Update 2013-02-03 3:03 EST]

All orders which have paid the full and proper amount for each Avalon unit will be honored. This means if your order said 0.05BTC and you later paid the correct amount (~75BTC) that your order will be fulfilled. Please create a support ticket with Avalon to confirm your order details with them personally. The remaining Avalon units will be going on sale tomorrow.

"Your Order has been fixed, and appears correctly in our system."
And nothing more. Huh

Hi,

I am one of the so called "placeholder" and I contacted Avalon support, opened a ticket, provided a screenshot of walletbit page from the time of the order, provided the time of the payment for 1USD and I got within 5 minutes a response to make the full payment to the same address.

So, I'm kindly asking you to put back the list and make the mention to contact avalon support (not walletbit)

Coastermonger: 1 ordered and completed full payment via Walletbit.  Even spoke with Chris at Walletbit and he confirmed the Avalon transactions were running smoothly today.  It's legit.

I contacted Avalon support today as I don't have received yet an order confirmation even if my order has been confirmed by support Avalon and Walletbit. Avalon support replied me they will sent a emails with order information and others when they fixed all problem of yesterday. I guess they will send all emails with order details when all 600 unit sold.

I sent an email to Avalon earlier this morning about completing the order after only having been able to pay the fraction of it yesterday. I quickly got a response saying I could go ahead and send the rest, my details having been logged with the site. I just sent the BTC for three and sent both Avalon and Walletbit an email with the details.

Here's hoping it all works out. Also that the queue proceeds with first to order, since I was the first to do so yesterday. Grin

there is no such thing as a placeholder order, there was only a mistake, which will have to get fixed.

I sent only a token "placeholder" amount to 13qVSWZbPNKjjFWDip8QAhV5qZHyz295vr for my order.  I did not want to send the fully requested amount of 75.65502117, because I was not sure the order was recorded properly.

If I send the full amount to the address above now, can I complete the order?

Thanks.

I have also submitted a support ticket.

http://blockchain.info/tx/151d98824b23a3a343777153e01fe44d7936cd0c884aff9b9755d164ab010f35

I made a new order successfully today, and closed the support ticket.  They can keep the "placeholder" payment, or refund it back to the sent-from address (I sent from my local wallet).

Hope batch #2 goes smoothly from here on out.  And batch #1 for that matter.

Hello Raize,

3 units paid with trade in against 3 Icarus boards, paid a bit more than 181 BTCs...

Ecki, I know you own several Icarus cause we purchased in the same original batch, but do they ask for confirmation or pictures of our Icarus or something? I couldn't get past the "Add To Cart" page for some reason, it just stuck on "Updating cart...". I actually still have the page up, I wonder if it's because I use a custom version of Chrome or something.
No they did not ask for any information or proof that I am still owning 3 Icarus boards.
What makes me more nervous is, that till today, I did not get any Email confirmation... Sad
Where are my 181 BTCs now?

I assume that they have other problems to solve, but a confirmation of an order would be still necessary (in my opinion).

Sunny regards from holiday island Koh Samui (Thailand),
 Eckmar
