Dammit, c'mon Avalon team, at least confirm that you got our payment so we know if you got the coins or we sent them into the ether.

Sent in trade-in as of April 24. Unfortunately my item according to the Canada Post tracking website has not been picked up yet.

There were two attempted deliveries, one on April 29, and one on May 2. Cards left indicating where item could be picked up.

I re-opened a support ticket (#1102) as per instructions read here. But..  nothing in the store yet, and no emails, and no response to the support ticket.

It's not many of course, just a few Icarus.

Hopefully soon, but honestly at the trade-in price, as long as we get the devices in-hand at some point prior to.. like late September, we're still making out like bandits. My delivery situation is unusual because it *appears* as though mine are still sitting in the post office.

Honestly, IMHO you should've sent it via DHL. My trade in units got there in about 2 to 3 days. Plus they have excellent tracking and someone has to sign for the package so nobody can use the excuse that they did not receive it. But in the end it just may not make a difference as the bottleneck seems to be the rate at which they can produce units and/or deal with support issues, not receiving trade-in units.

I don't think it will make a difference, but maybe Yifu chooses to surprise us with some Avalon2-55nm chips instead of batch 3 units.

God help you if he is delayed that long.  I think I read March of next year for the new chips...

There is no way that is happening. How about he surprises us with at least shipping or old 110nm units Smiley

Canada Post is good; and requires signatures. Also, it has excellent tracking including all points where the package arrived and what its status is. Its status is halfway-delivered! (And has been since the beginning of May.) Woo! :-D

Yep, they are. They've probably been resold into the dev board market. Also they're probably mining with our 17 btc avalon units too. But I honestly doubt they have them built. The more realistic scenario is that our units will come after all of the batch 3 units have been shipped out.

There is no point in sending emails to them. Or opening tickets for that matter. We have all tried that for months with zero results.

The only options seems to be to either physically locate Yifu in New York where he lives I'm told, or to collectively hire a lawyer. Anybody close to N.Y.?

I think this is good news for trade-in's:
Bitcoin gold rush heats up with $200m private equity deal:
http://www.efinancialnews.com/story/2013-08-05/bitcoin-gold-rush-heats-up-with-private-equity-deal
The 110nm ASIC are trade-ins in this case - they gonna have a working trade-in system Smiley
