I'm probably the only one, but my vote is to start the clock now for calculating returns for the investors. My thinking is this...if the clock starts now, as people learn about the coin this can be explained as a tangible benefit. Otherwise, they may just feel it's an empty promise like so many other coins make.
You are 100% correct.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

From looking at the richlist it seems that more then just 2.5mil coins are staking. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/gbt/#!rich The #1 wallet is probably Gamebet's wallet. The others look all to be staking. Where did you get 2.5mil from?

I guess most people are locking their wallet and not allowing it to stake then.

I wonder when our referral percentages will reflect our investment tier level, I woke up to a couple more and right now I'm kinda hoping they don't bet!

Hey guys, just wanted to stop by with a quick update regarding the marketing plan for GameBet.gg We will be revealing parts of our approach to marketing the platform in bits and pieces over the coming weeks .The reason behind us going for this strategy is the fact that we do not want to have a single approach set in stone, but rather wish to include the collective intelligence of the community here into our decision making. We wish to leverage your networks as we roll out the new version of the platform - so in case there is any input you’d want to make, please do leave a message or feel free to reach out to Xypher on the team discord 24/7 to discuss things further on a 1:1 level. Part 1 : Twitch.tv Influencer Program. A key part of our early day marketing strategy would include Twitch. The reason behind this is the fact that twitch offers one of the highest Return of Investment in terms of advertising spend. The fact that a trusted third party is referring the platform would bring added authenticity to the platform. Something, we will not be able to attain through pointlessly purchasing ad spaces across platforms. We will be revealing certain metrics that will be utilized to decide whether we would be interested in onboarding a user as a “influencer” on our platform in the days to come. For now, an influencer’s deal with us would involve -Access to items for giveaways on his platform -Merchandise to sport during his stream -Banners to put on his channel as a “Trusted partner” - showing him to be sponsored by us -Him using the platform during his stream to place bets. A lot of viewers often join in and place bets along with him, which would mean a much higher number of users joining us. -Data analysts who run through existing matches and talk about the possibilities of certain teams winning with the platform being recommended as a “preferred place” to bet. Our twitch campaign would be both “explicit” (open display of sponsorship) and “subtle” ( random plug ins during a stream) . This would allow the platform to be seen by a relatively large number of users and bring in a much larger ROI than out-right purchase of google ads or youtube views. The strategy is to put out the platform under maximum eyes for the maximum period over a sustained fashion. We will soon be opening our “sponsorship” sign up page where in teams can upload their information for us to revert in regards to a sponsorship decision. We are also hunting for teams and major streamers that could be on boarded with a smaller budget. The twitch campaign will lay the basis for our promotions and we expect to build up from there. I believe this will be the smartest way to get the platform out to users around the globe as targeting influencers from varied cultures would additionally permit us to influence users who don’t predominantly speak english.. Which brings me to the topic .. We are looking for a complete Russian translation of the platform. In case you’d be interested in signing up for a bounty - message xypher@gamebet.gg with past experiences and details and we will revert right back to you

@Daily, I've mentioned earlier on today, I think the quick hit would be right here on btctalk on the gambling section. You have gamblers and crypto enthusiasts in one. Best of all, it's free If you want I can start the thread but I think it would be better coming from you or one of the other developers. Thoughts?

We are working on a thread for the gambling section now. We hope to have it ready over the weekend along with our new signature campaign thread and payment structure (for signature campaign). We definitely know that a thread in the gambling section is needed, and has been on our to-do list as soon as the sale completed. We just got so bogged down with the distribution, perks, emails, exchanges, the forum ect that sadly it put that thread on the back burner. It will be up this weekend though so worry not my friend. Thanks again for your continued support in GameBet. DM
