The current version of Christianity is a business model, which doesn't have anything to do with Jesus Christ or any of his relatives or disciples. Right now, Christianity is big business, whose sole intention is to exert influence in world politics, and to stash as much wealth as possible. Somewhere I read that around 10% of the world's net wealth is owned by the Christian denominations. But at the same time, a lot many of the poor people around the world are Christian.

To interpret what the bible says in that text, i think the main idea there is to eliminate evil, the depiction of evil is rebellious, glutton(greedy), lazy, etc... don't take the bible seriously word by word (but i don't think in my country that we have a bible that say its okay to kill rather we have to teach him to be good,, blah blah blah, and so on). I don't get where you got that part, but to ask you, can you tell me what specific section you get that, i am not a bible fanatic that remembers all the part, article and others. I am just a half believer but sure i want to know more of your ideas about Christianity knowing that in each religion there is always lies within. Let me ask you, what is your religion?

I LOVE OSHO. I agree with the fact that Christianity is poison but it is not alone. All religion is poison and made up to control the minds of minorities. It is so that people stay in check without being monitored, because they have a fear held over their heads that holds a dominance giving them incentive to follow rules and avoid "sin".

Christianity isnt poison and same goes for atheists. Careful there.... your words are borderline fighting words. Seems people in this thread forget Africans have been around a whole lot longer than any of you, your religions or wars with their "low IQs". If you really want to talk deep history, we can go there. Just be warned the results may not align too well with preconceived notions of humanity's origin according to religions.

Now the best minds on earth today will openly admit that the human DNA tree points to a certain race and best geologists can map out certain migratory routes that originated from a certain continent. The proof and evidence of prehistoric fossils  from the anthropologists show a clear story that stretches hundreds of thousands of years for  homo sapiens. No sane person today can refute this evidence from the paleo era. I would not be too quick to dismiss a civilization that outlived other primates and endured life this far. WW3 would just be the end of this THIS era, but some of u know 2000, 6000 or whatever years you want to claim is but a tiny dot in human timeline of millions of years. These low IQ folk managed the earth and its resources way better than the high IQ ones and never left nuclear radioactive toxic waste to screw future generation 10,000 years later or wipe out species of life in such a short period.

I want to be clear that I have myself been greatly influenced by the book [bible] in my younger years.

This book and sections of it, adapted or not, together with the koran displays the ancient mid-eastern cultures and their ancient customs.

Stoning someone is still practiced today in some regions of the world, greatly influenced by religious indoctrination. It is not a joke when someone is stoned, it is horrible to say the least. I have difficulty imagining a more tragic murder.

What is however, even more heart wrenchingly disturbing to me, is that the biblical theocratic laws and decrees, as set out in the quoted text, are those ordering parents, not strangers, to sentence their own child to death in the worst possible way, even when they don't throw the stones themselves.
