Remember that your router ip has to be 192.168xxx, otherwise it will not work.

True for dhcp, for static IP they do in fact work on 10.x.x.x

Does mining actually can be profitable in 2016 guys?
As stated before, it comes down to how many time you want to invest and how expensive your power is.
I started of by buying a kw/h measuring gadget and i let my SP20E run for a month, after that i calculated if i made any profit at all.
In my case i came out even, because the electricity is around 17 cents per KW. Still i find the exchange from money to electricity to BTC to  money again quite fun and i like to fumble around electronics. So that's a huge plus for me.
And if you are here for profit, having a S7 Antminer would be a huge bonus.
I hope that's an ok answer for you!

here is a cloud site from the biggest builder of gear.  bitmaintech built the s-1 the s-3 the s-5  the s-7

https://www.hashnest.com/

https://www.facebook.com/hashnest/

will it make money for you I have no idea. but they let you sell the hash pretty easy if you want to quit.

I have used them and made a small profit maybe 10 btc in and 10.5 btc out.

Don't go with one that you found that has cheap prices.  Sadly cloud mining if full of scams.  A lot of sites do not even have gear behind them, they fake mining.. give you part of what you paid.. and in the end you lose money.

I really like owning gear personally.  You might look at owning the gear and hosting it somewhere.  There are lot's of options out there for this.  But if you do decide to go cloud mine as Phil suggested deffinaly go with hashnest.

Thanks so much for your kind heart!! I learn a lot!
i have email oxbtc and they told me that i could see their mining facility if i want.
though i don't know if i should trust them, but i can buy 100GHS to try, also it got coupons now so it won't cost me to much for a try. if i don't want it anymore i can sell it.
And thanks for the info of hashnest, i will try that too!

I hope you stuck with a "little" as they are so many cloud mining scams.  Hashnest is the ONLY one you will find people recommending if you really want cloud mining, and there is good reason for that.

I personally like idea of owning miner and hosting it somewhere even better myself.  But anyone reading be careful with "low cost/high roi" cloud mining.  As a lot of those sites will take the money and run, or just simulate mining and make it appear you lost some money due to fees.  Most of these fly by night cloud mining sites I doubt even have equipment.

I guess that someone was trying to get you into his own pseudo-cloudmining scheme. Hashnest is owned by bitmain - the company that produces mining hardware of their own. I'm not advertising anything though  Grin

Most likely this is true.  Look into some of the accounts that push some of the crap scam cloud mining sites.   The only cloud mining site I would even send people to is hashnest.  It just is the only one around with the legitimacy.

That being said I personally would think about buying a miner and looking at hosting as a option.  I just like owning the hardware as it gives me something to sell at the end.  Which can be a nice little bump in ROI.
