Hello again everyone.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my first thread, I got advised to start mining altcoins instead of focusing on Bitcoin, since it's going to be a rough ride if I want to get on that wagon.

I went onto "whattomine.com" and saw that Zcash was good in price, but since I dont have linux, Zcash is not possible for me right now.

I then got rather confused, because alot of mining are based on graphics cards, but mostly graphics cards besides Nvidia?

So my question is, what altcoin should i focus on, I am currently sitting with an I7 4790K CPU and Nvidia Geforce GTX970

Thanks!
Alex.

Your Gpu are ok if you want to mine you can mine,Zcash clone there at least 4 or 5 zcash clone and you can mine some of them using windows alone,Zcash is ok but people are giving it negative reviews because of the founders rewards.

Why not fiddle with a few miners and see what coins you like and try mine them then buy a few more to add extra bulk and buy and sell them on the market. This way you can get use to mining and using wallets and have first hand experience with different coins. You do not have to buy many. Just mine a day or two per coin.
