Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm still doubting that an extra 500Thash/s is going to be added in the next few weeks. Avalon only shipped 2 of the 300 units, and BFL doesn't even have working chips.

I sold mine BTW, so it's off the market.


Also, for those that are thinking about buying from mining4fun11/Hashking, keep in mind that you're buying goods purchased using money stolen from all his investors.
