I think gold and bitcoin has the same quality to be invested. but bitcoin has the disadvantage of no confidence from the government of a country to ensure it. while gold is already guaranteed price and guaranteed sustainability as one of the precious things in this world. gold is better than bitcoin for the long term. but for the short term both have the same quality and quantity.

i think of gold as a form of currency storage thats stable and something i can use forlong term investments, whereas bitcoin is more in the near future investment.

Both gold and bitcoins are good for investment., for me gold is for long-term investment and bitcoin is for shprt-term investment. And i more preffer invest on bitcoins.
I also prefer to invest in bitcoin as its much more easy for me to get bitcoin than gold. Trading bitcoin and altcoin is much more profitable for me. |

I think gold is a bit harder to keep safe unlike Bitcoin where keeping the private keys away from people is enough to ensure a high chance of not getting robbed. However the value of gold is more stable than the price of Bitcoin which tends to fluctuate greatly. Everyone needs to decide which is better for them I guess.

As an investment i can say that gold is better than bitcoin. Because gold is already accepted by the people and the government, also the price of the gold seems to be steady and keeps on increasing over the time. Bitcoin is still not that popular and some government don't like it. But bitcoin is good to keep as a currency and it's transaction is faster.

I think if u want to safe ur money invest in gold but the profit is low but also good . if u want to invest in biycoin the ideal pfofit u can make in the future is very big. But there's a risk. But don't worry if u invest in bitcoin . bitcoin did not going down fastly because there are millions of investor and this is number 1alt. For me best to invest gold and bitcoin. God bless

BOTH assets have different characteristics, meaning that holding BOTH is perfectly OK. They work differently. They BOTH have a place in many people's portfolios.
Gold and Bitcoin offer good diversification.
BOTH assets may have YUUGE price increases if/when the financial system destabilizes.
One is not better than the other. They BOTH are good.

more or less both have the same value... i suggest bitcoin, as a new technology bitcoin is subjected to much more volatility than gold..also bitcoin has seen its market value surge, even eclipsing the value of gold at one point..

Gold has a long reputation and known by entire human population whereas bitcoin knowledge is limited only to tech-savy people.

Gold is not that much different than Bitcoin. Both are mined and are scares and in limited quantities. Bitcoin was built to simulate the same function as gold, but just to be better and in a digital form. I think the people have a false sense of security, if they think gold is a good store of value. The governments have a paper trail to every large gold purchase that was done and who owns that gold, so they can start to confiscate gold, if they wanted to. This is turning out to be a interesting topic to debate, and we should consider if gold has the value we applied to it. |
