There is no doubt if paypal integrate xapo and by them start dealing with bitcoin as altcoins will be a huge jump as people may deposit at paypal and moove into crypto and do the reverse, but one thing is that maybe paypal will block the funds as they will ask to know where the money from.I hope if this happens paypal be more clean, asking their users if they will use crypto, and then they dont block any funds from those.

I don't think they will be fine together regardless of the management, PayPal is based on using transactions between users for a cost "higher than bitcoin by a large margin" Therefore both seem to be at least competitors and won't fit together IMO.

What will be curious to see if bitcoin gets into the crypto world, even with a third companie between them and the costumers, how they will act as  the ammounts start to come big to they transfer to bank accounts, the legislation wont block such funds?

Paypal & Bitcoin?

i would rather choose still Bitcoin not because im a bitcoin enthusiast.
aside from that Paypal is very strict to their client online they ask many requirements
before the client get what they want in paypal transaction.
this is just a comparison for me between paypal and Bitcoin. Smiley

From where you concluded bitcoin is not available in some countries just like paypal?  Huh
Bitcoin can be used even in north korea even they are strict in regulation, if you are talking about uses of bitcoin in local merchant than yes it will take time but in near future merchants from every country will adopt bitcoin.

PayPal and Bitcoin can co-exist in the same market, but each with a lower market share. Bitcoin just gives you another decentralized alternative payment option over PayPal. There are 1000's of people,

who got burned by PayPal and their stupid rules and regulations and who would look for other alternatives and then there are many who got hacked or lost some coins on the Bitcoin side. We will see a

movement of people from and to each of these options over the years.  Grin

Now I do still believe Paypal are not best of friends with Bitcoin with that being said I'm wondering this year if they are taking a lighter view on it, giving they named bitcoin guru and founder of Xapo, Wences Casares to the board of Directors to assist in running the ship. Paypal is popular only because majority of the sites accepts it and that doesn't goes same with bitcoin at a moment, but things may change in future when bitcoin will get more popular.

I also think that I would go with Paypal before Bitcoin because you just can use the Paypal at more online stores.
That is why it is better at the moment if you are looking for a payment to pay at online web shops.

This is good news for the future BTC for the better. When know that Paypal is one of the platform's digital currency that gives a very special security and if paypal combine BTC then it would be a very digital currency outstanding and unmatched until some twenty years. I hope it can become a reality

paypal is not available in every country with notable exceptions being Iraq, Afghanistan, North korea and Haiti.. but bitcoin is the first true transnational currency, because it is border- agnostic like the internet.. it can be controlled, but cannot be shut down globally unless electricity is shut off everywhere from the world..

I also see how much better is bitcoin, and bitcoin offer so much more to us ordinary people. I don't live in some modern country, and in my case bitcoin is the one who opened me the door to the world.
Pay Pal is good for many people as I can see, but personally I never used it, and I don't plan to. With reversible transactions I don't even do any kind of business with people who have pay pal, I saw around forum warnings about it.
Bitcoin is the future, and I think I will never change it.
