Also we still have no clear answer as to what will happen to the swapped TIPS which seems to accumulate in one or more adresses.

Yes we've been on the case of Coinexchange as to deposits. They have promised to action it asap. They closed them initially when the Tips network was behaving poorly and the explorer was offline, due to concerns that they expressed.

As to the swapped tips we have been clear on that since the beginning - we will be destroying them. That has always been the case and remains so.

Hi robots,

Thanks, after a long wait the wallet got out of maintenance today, it seems your pushing helped there.

Actually the BE had only been down for a few hours when they first put the wallet in maintenance end of march. At this time there was a temporary disagreement on the network and iquidus stopped indexing until the wallet had been restarted. Since then BE has been online and active as I keep an eye on it in the run to the swap.

Looking forward for the burn address, will label it in BE as soon as you post it.

Hi Ride22,

Gate continues trading Tips, however the Tips chain is not performing well as it's at end of chain. The Fedora project team is therefore focusing on FED Gold. You can still swap at Altilly (as mentioned above) and also direct with the team if you prefer.

FED coin is live and trading on two exchanges - Coinexchange and Altilly.  Several different pairs are available but the main ones seem to be BTC:

It's not trading on Gate - they wanted to stay on Tips alas

Hi Donarito,

I should mention that the Fed price has dropped somewhat since we launched. In other words, it is currently lower in comparison to Tips if you were to swap at 50:1

So if you do want to move from Tips to Fed, you will actually end up with more if you just sell the Tips and then buy Fed with the proceeds. I stress that we never recommend buying or selling and we do not provide financial advice. Just pointing out the numbers.

Fed development remains very active, we just have limited visibility and market exposure at present
