Selling can be good but keep in mind that the halving is coming and because of that I would not sell any bitcoins these days.
Its just not worth it simply because of the fact that it can have huge consequences.

Yeah selling always be good no matter when the price rise or price down as long sell can make you get a profit or cover losses so I think it's good anytime for selling. halving still just a rumor until today that can not be proven by anyone even though like that I have prepared a little bitcoin to sell it after halving. |

For me, even if the price of bitcoin gone a little bit lower I will still not sell it. I use bitcoin as my investment. Just let it in your wallet and if the bitcoin price goes very high maybe you can sell it then. Or maybe just the half of it and buy some investment.

The real effect of the halving wont be for acouple months when the lessened supply puts buying pressure on the exchanges.

Yeah wait for the supply to drop so we can actually make some bigger money by not just waiting and waiting, after the halving we will have to wait a little bit but honestly that will be worth it because the price will surely skyrocket enough to make us all content with our waiting. Selling right now is not even smart, if you can simple think about the halving and connect it to price rises its logical that its not the time to sell right ?
I really do not recommend people to sell it now!

The future of the bitcoin is good so holding is now a very good option compared with it.

Holding is the thing you should do, the halving is incoming next month and it will let the price rise.
Due to this you should hold, if you are holding you can make huge profits depending on the buy in.

Yes, if you aim for a big win, don't expect anything withing now and 2 years. Give it more time and you will see the price probably be at least worth 4 digits. My plan is to be active with bitcoin but forget the coins in my wallet. |

Yes and I don't think that this is the best price to sell, as price is not up to the expectation level that it should be, so holding till the halving can be the best thing. |

No. Please hold for time being. Try to earn more BTC and add to the wallet along with the BTC you have. The price is really increasing though it goes up and down often. Hope at least it stays stable. Earn more BTC. A good time to pile up your wallet with more BTC now to gain good profit.

yes agree now is the time to hold for halving, it's just for 11 days longer so i think we have to be patient much longer wait for the right moment to sell maybe will get better price. I think it is better to hold until at least after the halving. But it also depends on the performance of the new Core client. |

That may be a longer waiting for you, then. Rising over $1k is still quite distant, and it is hard to say whether it can happen next year, or five years from now. All hope it will be shorter rather than longer, but are you prepared to wait, say, five years? |

The price went up too quick in such a short time. People were expecting a lot from it as the price kept going up and up. $1000 before the halving is not possible anymore as the current price is too far away from $1000. I don't mind waiting 6 months to a year to see the price hit the $1000 mark again. I have enough patience. |
