Official Request To Restore Deleted Post

I'm just curious if the mod or admin that deleted the post below can elaborate on why it was removed.

It's on topic and is a legitimate question to the OP.

Consider this an official (if there is such a thing) request to restore this post.

The OP is just a basic complaint about Techshare being booted off the DT.

If mine is off topic, so are literally a hundred more in there.


I just thought it was odd but like Hilariousandco stated

it was probably due to Techshare whining about the post.

Try reporting some and see if you get lucky  . Also , I don't think once deleted the post can be restored. Threads are sent to trashcan from which mods can restore them but only admins can see or restore deleted posts, and I don't think they'd do so.
It might be a mistake though, if you think it is , try posting it again and see if any mod deletes it

I am willing to bet the same happened with the comments i was referring to earlier also BCX.
Seems to me he has a friend over here who is quick to do some mod action for him though.

Broheim, I have had a number of my posts deleted in the past few days.  I mean fucking Christ this is a discussion forum and going just a tad off topic or going semi-tangential should be allowed.  And yes there are dozens if not hundreds of posts that do so.  I'm wondering if they're getting reported or what.  You could have someone who does not like you reporting your posts, who knows.  And I'm sure it depends on who the mods are.  I definitely think it needs to not be so strict.

As you seem to like replying in points

1) I don't mean threads, if you find a post that is very off-topic and want revenge( ) , go for it lol
2) Do you have any source? I can give you the exact post from BadBear that says posts cannot be restored by mods, they can only be seen or restored by admins which is more than not worth the trouble here IMO.
3) You can do so in a self-moderated thread but yeah if no mod confesses that he accidentally deleted the post. It would conclude that the mod who deleted the post(a global moderator) did it not by mistake, it wouldn't immediately get you a ban but at least you would be sure
