Because ETH is at the root of so many asset backed tokens, the logical approach is to add a ethereum to your basket, and avoid the risky speculative coins, all the while diversifying into other settlement capable blockchains.
I think the ETH is a good alternative to bitcoin. |

As I've become quite bullish on ETH, I believe the current price is just a fraction of where it could be in a year or so.
BUT don't be fooled, one of the (main) reasons BTC ETF was rejected was the unregulated trading space, this is exactly the same with ETH.
So don't get your hopes up for an ETH ETF approval, base your investment decision on other fundamentals, because ETF approval for ETH is a LONG SHOT.
ETH is under regulation. |

His price is high, but sometimes you have to buy it
I'm beginning to like Ethereum,this is coin will have a stronghold in the the coinmarketcap placing,there's a lot of token being build in ethereum and some of them are successful I believe the price will still go up it's potential in the market is not yet fully tap. |

ETH saw a huge price rise in the previous weeks but looks like that it still have some room to grow. It is being used for a lot of new projects now, and it is driving media attention to ETH. People that only considered BTC for investment are diversifying to ETH, helping to keep the demand for it high. If the road is not so bumpy ahead, we may see a ~$200 scenario at the end of the year.

Eth has a good future as a good alternative to Bitcoin. With its platform being used by other altcoins, there is that added goodwill embedded in Ethers that you can to the bank anytime. Now, that it is beginning to be recognized for its real value, the price is inching upwards to the delight of many Ether holders. Unfortunately, I did not bought Ethers when it was just at the $10 level. Sad. |

This ETH is becoming the blockchain of blockchains, which basically cuts out the rational from many of the decentralised exchange coins and een LN to some extent, plus there is the full turing and heaps of dev. Meanwhile BTC is shooting itself in the foot as hard , fast and often as possible with the BU and Segwit debate. BTC could be at 10K now or at least 5K |

Yes so many ico are based on ethereum,because it's cheap and affordable I'm surprise that my eth double it's price in 2 months I'm glad my friend convice me to buy eth when it was cheap my regret it I should have bought more. It makes us really regret that we didnt purchase more when the price was still low but still its a good profit after all as long we are on positive side.I have some ETH holdings when it just $2 but still im holding as of now because i do really believe on its potential to price increase even more in upcoming years.Im doing long trades i dont care if i dont gain profits as of now. |

Good alt or stay away?
Depends on what your intention are. For trading/speculation/making profit, it seems to be a good choice at the moment. Lots of hype/fud happening in the ethereum space. Lots of ICOs. Lots of buzzwords and lots of "marketing". So in the short term it can give you good profits.
From a technological/usability standpoint it doesn't seem like a good alt. Developers often seem to be shortsighted in there actions and some of their decisions are more than questionable. I don't see a bright future for it as there are other platforms that will be released (by more competent developers) that can do the things ethereum wants to do , only much better.
Do your research and weight the risk.

The price seems pretty high for me, than it is good. I remember when it was stuck at $19 and I thought it won't move up, but there are a lot of projects out there that use ethereum as their payment method, so it makes ethereum price rise and reach $96 right now.
Well, people can say anything about ethereum, but when people trust and use it means high demand = price increase.

I think the ETH is a good alternative to bitcoin. This a correct, because the scaling problem of bitcoin makes a lot of people feeling annoying with it. But the point is on the succeded to drive his hardfork to the right way until this time. And the validation of ethereum transaction is underestimated. It's too fast for a lot of people. It can be main point ether is a good alternative for bitcoin. |

Many say that it's just pump and dump and doesnt really have any substantial value, but dont forget that it's the 2nd largest cryptocurrency by now and for example coinbase even added ETH to their service BEFORE adding ltc ...
ETH has gotten a lot of media coverage as well, they're focusing on smart contracts and it seems like a very cool technology to people unfamiliar with crypto.
so I definitely think ETH is worth investing and we havent seen the last of it yet !
