Initially i gained some profits from many trading platforms but atleast when i stayed immersively with online tradings, i lost all my funds! I do not risk my money now in these fields.
Sounds like you got to big for your boots and confident after winning a few. Sounds like you had a rough time trading more than you could afford to lose, must suck. I have lost many times trading but I never invest more than I can afford thus never needing to quit trading but more so develop more and in the end become a better trader. This is the problem with many trader, indiscipline not knowing time to quit and take their profit. The present Altcoins bull run is going to end soon and some people will try to chase their profit when the run ends instead of quit i think in such situation long term investment is a good option, as in long term investment we do not care for the slight downfall and after some good time may be after 3 or 4 years the price when there will be a remarkable change in the price of bitcoin then bitcoin will give you a good profit.

Your prediction sounds to be good which is generally not the case with everyone as I trade altcoins but sometimes I make profits and sometimes go through loss but there is no way from where I can find what is the exact percentage of profits or loss as it can be never the same.

Dash and ETH is on their verge of pump now so you'll easily get a profit when you buy and hold. Opportunities like this does not happen all the time and lucky are those who have a good amount of capital to take advantage of this pump, I like you also earn from this altcoins and I think this trend will be the same in the future as bitcoin's price is falling.

I'm finding that bitcoin trading is part of my full time job, and it does not pay enough to pay for my living expenses. This is fine because I'm an entrepreneur and I have some cash reserves to fund my living expenses. I figure if I automate some things, and get better at trading, I will likely make enough money to cover most of my living expenses, and if some of my other projects work out, I might be able to live a decent middle class life style, but even this is going take a lot of hard work.
The thing that I don't think I'll *ever* be able to do realistically is get super rich by bitcoin trading. I might be able to get super-rich by doing other things, but not bitcoin trading. I might be able to make decent amounts of money, but if I wanted to maximize income, I never would have left (insert big investment bank).

How much money do you make from trading ? Your expect and result, Also never forget to tell your principal
Thank you
I don't know whether it has the same topic like this before or not if yes please post here,
I lose in trading when the price fell but I earned more if the price goes up and it would double my money sometimes.

Can you explain how you don't have a fixed amount of btc please? Does it always rise and if so losing some on trading is ok because it just keeps rising as its not fixed. I have to guess you're a gambler and lose all your btc before trading. We've all lost from trading, learn from it and move on.

I made earning about 0.1btc per month through trading only which is my expected earning limit but sometimes this limit crossed . About 6-7 months goes with me with trading And in this time range about 3-4 times my trading earning exceeds than what I was expecting , this is because sudden increase in the price of the altcoin that I bought . Here my principal is only to buy at order ( not at the current price ) and then out at sell.order in Advance at 50% more price that what is at the current time .

For me there is no exact amount of earnings and lose in trading because base on my experience I only tried trading for about 2-3 times and I have a principal of 0.01 and get a earnings of 0.0105 and I think it is good because for me who only starting to trade is that is enough for the first timers. I guess I will study more for how to trade for a better income. I will ask to my friends who are veterans in trading to get a high amount of earnings and at the same time strategy.

I don't think someone really successfull will boast with his success here. You always should keep in mind that for every win in trading someone else made a loss. So it is never possible that every trader wins. Of course there are normal buyers too that do not really care about losing. For me I lost way too much. But... and that is important, my trades got way better. And because I realized that I most probably will fail, I only learn by using 10 to $20 on okcoin margin trading. It is simply learning to find out how the price probably will develop. That way I learn relatively cheap compared to the past. I agree that even in trading you sometimes lose and sometimes win. Base on my experience I get lose and of course get some win. I used to put a principal of 0.01 in trading, sometimes it gets lose and sometimes it earns for about 0.0105 and sometimes if I get luck I earn 0.011. You need to bare in your mind that when trading it is normal to lose earnings because when you are loosing there is always winning. Hope you'll encourage. Goodluck Bitcoiners!

Lost 0.15 BTC around last night when trying to make profit with ETH. I have realized my mistake and now have placed few SHORT postion on both ETH and DASH. I am hoping that bitcoin price will keep on pumping like now for few days so that i can double by bitcoin with this short position.

In total, I made a lot of profit by trading Bitcoin. My secret is; I am not a day trader but a long-term investor. Therefore I always bought my Bitcoin on a low level. My last buys where around one year ago, when the price was at $226. Since that I have not bought any further Bitcoin because I personally believe that the price is not cheap under the current circumstances (blocksize debate for instance). I will buy again when the price would go near $300 or below again.
We have the same strategy in trading. If you will do a long term investment on trading you will no longer worry on lose of your bitcoin. Why? Because there is a sure earning and capital you will have if you have future investment. I am not a type of person who always calculate my lose on such tradings because in the first place i am aware that there a risk in trading so i handle all of my trading through a systematic way so i do not lose to much on tradings.

I loss around 0.07 btc last night because i bought the coin when it pumped up and then it suddenly falling to the deep valley (You should be know what altcoin i mean). In total, I made a lot of profit by trading Bitcoin. My secret is; I am not a day trader but a long-term investor. Therefore I always bought my Bitcoin on a low level. I would call it as "investment" because you are doing it for long term, in trading which we know ussually we only doing in short term (when we got some profit, we'll sell it immediately).

I don't earn with this month and together with the price decrease of bitcoin, I wasn't able to buy when the price fall.
But most of the time, I'm not earning that big with trading since I'm doing it only as my past time and I'm not focusing with it.
On a weekly basis usually I'm happy with 0.01 BTC already this is with alt coin trading. But at first when I'm starting, I already lose approximately with 0.02BTC
But with bitcoin buy and sell, I'm earning up to 0.05 BTC weekly depends on the movement of the market.

well experience will teach you to know what is good and what is a bad advise mate, inside trading better to keep away from the chat room and never fall into fomo or those project which moving up you needed to trace why that move is happening, the forum itself have a lots of information mate better to research here instead of finding someone who can teach you, just a per my opinion mate.

Yes, in my experience having our own analysis would be the right way of trading. Because we cannot be sure how good the trading recommendations are we get. I have experiences of subscribing paid trading calls, but my trading performances were not finding any improvement out of that (instead I lost few bucks with their subscriptions). There are simple trading tools are available which are easy to learn as well easy to use for generating trading calls. Candle stick patterns and pivot point analysis are few of them. I am using these two and I can say they are more than good for mid level trader with capital less than 0.5 bitcoins.

In the sticky thread of Beginners and Help board, you'll see this post. But the only thing that mentioned trading there is this thread ( A warning about altcoins) You should totally check out Google. There are many blogsites out there that have the niche of altcoin trading. From there, you'll see different techniques for trading. Experience is the best teacher and you should check out https://whaleclub.co/ when you want to try out the trading techniques that you just learned. It is based on real time bitcoin to USD trading and some other currencies.
