Must not have gained a lot of attention for some reason, seems a decent enough POS coin.

The coin is indeed decent, very good support for all of the major platforms, everything works brilliantly. The developer is reliable, and he shows constant dedication to the project. The only problem is he doesn't have much time currently, and shows not much activity here on forum. As a result a big part of community is moving to other new flashy coins, so there is practically no activity here in the thread 
I am afraid UCoin is going to be delisted from C-Cex this time. The warning is there, but not much trading activity happens. Community is sleeping...

Regarding the staking in Android wallet - I believe the wallet does not stake currently. You can use UFaucet instead - shake it and earn coins

yes mate ccex already made some mail to informed members that this coin can be delisted if theres no enough volume of trade there just take sometime if what the dev's plan after this concerned maybe he's busy another loss opportunity to advertise his project if we look on the perspective the project really have something to provide just needed more attention.

Sad this coin in warning delisted on c-cex and bittrex. dev last active on september and this thread go nowhere. May be  community need help U coin to wake up from a long sleep or U coin will delisted from c-cex and bittrex then die forever.

drays,  As I wrote above, unfortunately I don't have much time (but now more than before).
I plan to do some major updates and release several services that will take to pay U.
Unfortunately, I can't give the exact dates, but I think in the spring.

That's very understandable. But I am afraid the coin might not survive until that, as both C-Cex and Bittrex are going to de-list it it because of low volume!!
The C-Cex deadline is 19 Oct 2016. Very close.
Bittrex deadline is even closer: 14 Oct 2016.

Bittrex also announced: "If you would like to keep the market listed, please encourage the development team to contact us at support@bittrex.com."

If nothing will be done (maybe some announcement, or at least contact the exchanges), Ucoin may lose both major exchanges, and it will be hard to recover.

Can this coin stake on the Android wallet? That is a pretty good feature to have.

I don't think staking on android is a great idea. There is a reason why it is not done and that is because it will just over work your phone and damage it from getting hot. It won't break it it will just damage it over a long time till one day it just gives in and dies.

I was actually about to go do exactly that and look at the faucet. Sounds more interesting then most.

I don't see a reason as to why not. The coin has a lot of features done by a one 1 team. Then there is the ticker which makes the coin even more unique.
My only concern however is to see this ticker on more exchanges.

Bittrex says "This market is being removed on Friday January 27th, 2017."  

Looks like they have changed policies and do not give prior warnings anymore?  
Does anyone know whether that is the case? Or is there a chance to keep the coin listing somehow?

Why is this coin so bad? We need more bitcoins volume now and I do not want it to be delisted on the bittrex.
Dev , You must try to hold Ucoin on this exchange with big volume now.

Yeah I think they changed their policy and are going to delist it.  Honestly it seems really random and as usual Bittrex's decision making skills are not the best.  I really don't think in the long run it will have much of an effect on U.  Still traded on c-cex and if yobit would take their wallet out of maintenance coins could be sent there as well.  I assume bittrex will give people some time to withdraw.

Can someone tell me what is a good amount to start staking with? At the moment I have a few thousand in the web wallet.

Trading is possible on C-CEX. I'll write tomorrow to Yobit support about issue with wallet. I have plans for the spring, I hope to be able to return to Bittrex.

Only a few days left and U coin still marked for delisted at c-cex. No much trading activity there, but still have little volume. May be just need little support to get minimum dailly volume 0.2BTC. I believe U coin will not delisted from c-cex because you're always active here to support your coin.
