IMHO STR is unsafe investment. Just read the news from cryptocoinsnews and I sold all my Stellar. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/opinion-earth-going-ripple/

Quoted from the article:
Jed McCaleb (Ripple founder) and others in the Ripple Labs had a dispute, so he left to fund a ripple clone called stellar and threatened to sell his 10 billion ripples at a market rate. They are now in a legal battle so that 10 billion has not yet been sold. Moreover, a flaw was found in stellar’s consensus system in 2014, which is similar to ripple’s with stellar’s chief scientist concluding that the stellar system is unlikely to be safe “when operating with “more than one validating node,” [because] when consensus is not reached, a ledger fork occurs with parts of the network disagreeing over accepted transactions.” Ripple’s chief cryptographer concluded that stellar (created by ripple’s founder) had incorrectly implemented the consensus system and that ” there is no threat to the continued operation of the Ripple network.”

And your FUD detector doesn't flare up when you see that? It doesn't look to you like there is some internal dispute and that maybe this would be a biased statement?

As per my opinion, for now STR is really at unsafe, price is still correcting, or maybe corrected a little bit already, I'll just invest in this coin when it is already stable and rising healthy, not one time big time.

Any kind of news on Stellar ? We want a rise rise in price!

you can read everything about stellar at STELLAR News Forum, myStellar.org

Can someone explain to me why everybody here think price of stellar is going up?
Now is almost 10 billion coins and in future will be 100 billion(you ll be giving up 16 billion coins to BTC owners) doesnt this mean price ll go down because in one day you ll have 150% coins more on market?

NO, financial inclusion will need XLM DISTRIBUTION, not everybody dump their coin
more distribution = more user = more hype to the XLM = value book a seat at another moon

also i would like to inform everyone,
IF YOU INTERESTED in potentially FREE 500 XLM ? ($26USD),
then check this out https://www.mystellar.org/thread-1676.html

How many ways to earn some free xml"s? I like stellar project and it seems that the future price will only be bigger. I can afford to buy some small amount but I would also like to collect as much as I can while its still so cheap and sometimes even free. Is there a list of stellar faucets or something?

You can't, a minimum of 20 stellars has to stay in the account.

There should be 20 lumens in the balance. Minimum balances help protect the network from the creation of spam accounts.

By itself, the token stellar very well kept on the same price level, but once out what the news - the price immediately rises by 50-70% than it was, and the week after that comes back, more than once it was, I think it would be more many times

time can be change at any sudden turn ...so you must keep mining and go a head...
