This coin needs actual use by actual businesses. Of you want to profile as a mainstream AML /insert regulation proof type of coin, show that real businesses are using it.

Is that enough?  Grin

https://www.stellar.org/about/directory

That's a very nice list there. But it's not enough. Adoption should be main target. Regarding adoption Bitcoin is far ahead other crypto projects, Ethereum is doing a lot of work in that direction.

Stellar has got a lot of advantages so it can perform really well too.

Stellar is in the buy zone and is  now offering the  better buying opportunities than I ever anticipated this summer.

It is not, huge pressure from airdrop users who are just claiming and dumping their coins.

When that pressure will release then it can be go up so we have to wait till this airdrop finish.

Hello, i have a Problem with the stellar account. Maybe i've done the Registration in wrong order and now everything ist out of control :-(
i have a secret key and a public key and a wallet but i think, they don't really fit together.
If i fill in my secret key on the account Viewer, there is an error-message. I have claimed the Lumen using my bitcoin wallet. everything was ok but now i have no access to the lumen. I really think, i have done it all in the wrong order.
I can't claim again, because the bitcoin adress is already registered. I am very confused. Is there any possibility, to cancel the whole registration to do it again?
Thank you for your help!

Just make fake facebook account. Stellar just want to know your location because this giveaway not applicable in USA.

Doesn't matter if you have friends there or not, facebook account will verifiy your location and you are fine to get giveaway.

You have to create a FaceBook account.
This is not to know some pesonnal data about you, just to know your location for this distribution (this kin d of distribution is not legit in some countries).

What if one participates in the giveout for BTC owners, then he moves his BTC to another address and then he applies again (and again)?
Not that I would do it, obviously. Just wondering about such kind of distributions.

First paste here your public key to be sure your account really has the XLM's:
https://steexp.com/

Then make sure you input your private key correctly on the account viewer.

Hello, thank you for your help John. Is the public key my account ID? I have only these two, secret and account-id. Nothing special is happening, when i paste it in steexp.com. The secret key is correkt, i have pastet it from the saved Word-Document.
Now the question is, how can i cancel the connection to my wallet, to try it again from the beginning? Or can i change nothing any more? If nothing works, what is next time, when the next airdrop comes? Can i claim again or is it possible never again?
Thank you.

Yes. When you paste your public key on the top right and press enter here https://steexp.com/ or here https://stellarchain.io/ it should display the amount of XLMs your account is holding.
If your secret key works you should be able to access your account here https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/ or here https://blackwallet.co/my

You can't reverse anything now if you have already claimed. And there won't be anymore airdrops.

Thank you John, the secret key is invalid. so i can do nothing. The procedure is very confusing and there is no manual how to do it correct.

Can we claim Lumens from multiple addresses? I use a Ledger Nano, so I have some BTC on a few different addresses.

yes. i had dust on about 15 addresses. it all adds up. they all went to the same stellar address with no problems.

Did you use the Ledger Nano to claim?

I had no success signing, I got the message “Your device can only use a derivation path starting by 0’/0xb11e’

When I contacted Ledger they just said "The signing message feature is only available with Nano S and Blue."

It's still on, just you must have BTC on your wallet @26th June. So check your wallet if you were holding BTC that time or not.

Is there no way to include a little FYI message with these airdrops somehow? I got a chunk of XLM this morning but, since I've never bought or really paid attention to XLM, my first reaction wasn't so much 'hey awesome' as 'oh shit, my account has been compromised somehow'. Granted here I am in the thread now, so in that sense the ploy worked, but it would be more effective advertising if it came with a little explanation of what XLM is all about and why people should hold it (like in Bittrex's 'i' information box thingy, or even as an email if nothing else would work. Or there could be a big FYI post in this thread awaiting all the people coming over and wondering what's up). Otherwise I have a feeling a lot of the airdrops will just get dumped back on the exchange as 'free money'.

Anyway, I guess I own some XLM now so I might as well learn about it. As (presumably) XLM fans yourselves, why do you think it has a good future?

Ah. It was an s not a nano. You should still be able to import the seed into a wallet that can be signed. I'm not sure which type of bip it is.
