I don't know as of now if bitcoin will replace the physical money but many are haters of something if they sees that it is having a good current situation. But the fact that bitcoin will be dead, this issue will be dead but bitcoin won't be. There are just like a lot of people who are very jealous from the success of others.

It is really not going to happen as bitcoin will become the most used crypto currency all over the world, even though there are alt coins around.

Still those developers who are saying that bitcoin is dead just to shift with their invention, I don't think so they will become success.

It's kinda awful to know that bitcoin would be dead on the radar of people whenever there are large price dips and would be a "scam" whenever there would be some hacks or inorganic price increases. Why would people still stick to that certain mindset, really? If you don't put any money ever into bitcoin, why label it as a scam or dead whenever there are big price dips lol.

I will start thinking Bitcoin is dead when I need to exchange my Bitcoins to other altcoin when I using (spending) my Bitcoins. Not happening today. All I see some altcoin prices up (some > 10x in few months), yet their real useability is almost the same - clear sign of speculation bubble to me.

While speculation they may do so because maybe they got caught in the past bubble and are still waiting bitcoin to hit 1200+dollars so they can recover their investment.

We can't change those mindset of people who are thinking negative with bitcoin. Maybe they have a very sad experience while they were in bitcoin, frustrations,failure or anything bad thing that made them hate bitcoin. But still not because of them bitcoin won't stop, instead it is keep on pumping and the price is increasing just like what is happening today.

I think there are certain bitcoin users that doesn't really know how to analyze the movement of bitcoin and that is why they are saying some things that they think they understand, because they only see with their eyes and not with their mind, I think you need to focus on the future on what bitcoin might go up when they are going down the gutter that is why there are still a positive ones that going for stocking bitcoins by buying and saving and they are seeing the decreasing value of bitcoin as an opportunity.

Actually people need to understand that bitcoin as a currency is also subject to the different market dynamics just like the other currencies and commodities. There are times you will find the dollar has dropped and there are times you will find it has risen. So bitcoin is not an exception here. There was a time when its value was very low. With time, it has been going down and up. Just a few weeks ago, its value was around 630 usd, it has risen to over 700 usd now. Therefore, when you its value dropping, it doesn't mean that it is dying.
