Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Looks like the whole chain is stuck on block 184.

The difficulty has risen dramatically to adjust for the first wave of hps. Now the hps has fallen a bit, so the difficulty will adjust shortly.

What's HPS?

I couldn't even send rented hash to a pool to get it unstuck. Difficulty adjustment is broken for sure.

I meant hashes per second. No worry, there's enough power in the network to push the chain shortly.

This will never work:

https://github.com/number7team/number7/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1103-L1105

You cannot look at the last 14 minutes if you have 7 minutes block time for diff retargeting.. you have to have at least 10 blocks to get a decent average, so that would be 70 minutes in your case...

The diff retargeting will never work decently with these values.

Thanks for your feedback, we're already working on it.

That's difficult to say this value is huge, actually, comparing to 20% colleagues here.

Of course, though we're having some difficulty issues, we're working on it.
Still stuck on block 185..

We are working on it guys, please, give us some time. Anyways, we're pushing the network with lots of computing power, as a temporary solution.

We believe that a simple customer e.g. a merchant doesn't need neither some specific algo nor some interesting, but useless features like Proof of Burn. They need a simple and stable coin with vast and easy ecosystem, low fees and help with setup. This is what we're gonna do.

The premine is only intended for promotion and development purposes. This is not much, taking into account total coin supply.

You have a block time slower than the BTC snailchain. If you're making random adjustments in a copy paste coin anyway, why such a long block time...
