  • Algorithm:                            Scrypt

Meh.
I 2nd that.

We believe that a simple customer e.g. a merchant doesn't need neither some specific algo nor some interesting, but useless features like Proof of Burn. They need a simple and stable coin with vast and easy ecosystem, low fees and help with setup. This is what we're gonna do.

scrypt is bad because gpu miners will not touch this coin and will not pump it

That's true, but pumping and dumping is not our goal. We are aiming to create some crypto-payments infrastructure in Russia and EAU, so the price will be regulated by the real demand, not just market speculations.

BTW, the network has successfully adjusted for the computing powers of our miners, so it's running now 192 block on 2.71 difficulty.

Are you trying to make walletbuilders go bankrupt?

Who cares that it's an older algorithm with ASICs out to prevent a fair share to the hobby miner or community?

Oh wait I do.

number7 is not intended for market games, so ASICs out is more a blessing than a curse to us.

What is number7?

number7 is the equivalent of money, trying to make the world a better place. number7 is a pure PoW no IPO coin.
number7 is only the first step towards a new financial world that we are developing. Our main goal is to create of a monetary equivalent that will grant you the freedom from external control, that will allow you to manage your funds anywhere and everywhere around the world.

Our goal

Our goal is to create a usable payment system, based on a cryptocurrency for the Russian Federation and EAU markets. According to our research this market is still one of the biggest apples, though very difficult due to non-friendly to the crypto legislation. Why do we think we may achieve something big here? Our lawyers and economists have found enough breaches in the legal field to make it real.  We believe that what real people need is a simple and stable coin with vast and easy ecosystem, low fees and help with setup. This is what we're gonna do.

  • Algorithm:                              Scrypt
  • Ticker:                                   N7
  • RPC port:                                6094
  • P2P port:                                6093
  • Block reward:                          300 coins
  • Height of block halving:             420000 blocks
  • Total coin supply :                    270967742 coins
  • Premine percent                       7%
  • Maturity:                                 7 blocks
  • Spacing:                                  7 minutes
  • Target timespan:                      14 minutes
  • Necessary confirmations:           7 blocks
  • Wallets are available for:           Windows, OSX, Ubuntu

Any secret about this coin ? The DEV said they are a big Team and then here got silence Suddenly.

Well, the thread has been silent as there were no questions, requests or suggestions. We can't say that the team is really big, but we've got a couple of devs (for web and the crypto itself), the journalist, the lawyer, the economist and two guys at support team, so I suppose, our view is more complex than many of the projects with similar ideas before.
