Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

The governments are wanting this technology now.  Interesting to follow what and how they deal with the blockchain.  I like this:

It's not surprising. Blockchains are more secure, and now that Bitcoin has shown that it works, all of our electronic finances should go through a Blockchains.
