Hello everyone
I have a rig with 4x ASUS RX470 4G and used to get 85+MH/s but with the time the hashrate got lower and lower and I thought it is because the difficulty is increasing. But then the diff dropped and my hashrate continued to decrease, so now is ~75MH/s. I know my cards are not the best for this job but still.. Also now they keep lower temperatures (54-57C). Someone please explain to me what am I missing. Thanks
You are missing a lot brother. Here is what you must do: 1. If you are using Windows 10, then go at AMD website, you will see a search box on the upper right corner, type " Blockchain". 2. First result is a driver, download it, uninstall your old gpu driver and install the new one, also make sure to use latest miner 10.1. 3. Problem solved, still use google in your free time and search "AMD DAG problem". You will now know what got you into all this. Have a beer haha [/quote Hi MikeGR7 My MB is old and having driver issues with Win8 and 10 so I stick with Win7 for which the Blockchain driver is problematic. Thanks for pointing that out There is still a solution for Win7 mate. Follow here: https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/14967/beta-driver-fix-hashrate-drop-dag-epoch-rx470-480-570-580-fix

Hey all, my main rig is running win10(not fcu), AMD blockchain drivers, and claymore 10.0. It has 8 570/580s and 3 1070s but I would like to add 2 new 570s. Which combo of versions is stable right now? I currently use claymore to set speeds and voltages and want to make sure the new AMD driver will still allow me to do so. Thanks
Just want to be sure before upgrading drivers because I have to disconnect all my flashed 570s to do driver updates for some reason or the install crashes.

I'm using: Win10 FCU 17.10.3 driver Claymore v10 I set my clocks via config file as well and everything is buttery smooth. The new AMD driver will let you run more than 8 AMD cards in Windows 10. Just ensure to set the cards to "Compute" mode via Radeon Settings to harness card's fullest hash rate.

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

I mine 15 days in nicehash and 15 days with claymore and other miners sometimes. I like to mine btc because that's the btc I use to pay bills and other stuff I manage to pay with the amount I'm able to mine the 15 days. Then I like to play or trade the coins that I mine for the rest of the month. I know that you should only care to mine the most profitable coin but I like to take advantage of early mining because the rewards are shared among less miners and where there's no way of getting them other than mining, I like to take the risk of giving the new coin a chance.
But each person will have a different strategy for their mining.

I had to reinstall all drivers, and it seems only 2 of the 5 cards are showing up. Mixture of 480s and 580s, 2 of 3 580s show up, 0 of 2 480s show up. Tried so many driver installs.

halp! I am trying to mine on linux but I get the error "No AMD OPENCL or NVIDIA CUDA GPUs found, exit" I have an R9 270 and an RX 570 in the system, but I am only trying to mine on the 570. I have a few different opencl libraries installed and the AMD-APP-SDK v3.0. Below is the output from lspci -v and dpkg -l as well as my mining script. What am I doing wrong? #!/bin/sh export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0 export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100 export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 export GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 ./ethdcrminer64 -epool us1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal <MyWalletAddress>.<WorkerName> -epsw x -platform 1 -esm 1 -etha 0 -asm 1 -ethi -49152 -dcri 24 -eres 0 -mode 1 -mport 0 -allpools 1 -allcoins etc -di 1 -cclock 1220 -mclock 2050 -cvddc 900 https://i.imgur.com/tpWBjYp.png

Core clock +99, Memory clock +600. Tried to decrease it, but no effect for now. Running 10.0 Claymore Dual eth+sia. Power is on 90% for now. Tried to change it but also no effect. Have you previously make this worked and suddenly have an error? seems like a driver error or miner config problem to me

Issues with Vega 56:
Blockchain drivers lockup if attempting to mine with more than 1 card. Blockchain drivers crash dual mining.
Disabling crossfire solved this problem. It is easy to identify if CF is enabled; Card#2 will have a single green LED (GPU tach) lit up when sitting idle.

Thanks for the link, i have read and made some test around. And the conclusion is That 2 of my gpus need lower oc, but will performe as hard ast the others gpu with higher OC. Example : GPU1 GPU2 GPU3 GPU 4 - OC at 70 power 10 clock and 20 memory to reach 25 MH GPU5 GPU6 - OC at 85 Power 5 clock and 15 memory to reach 25 MH I do not understand why This is just a example number, every test i made to reach stability for the GPU 5 GPU6 is was to rais 5-10 numbers at the time,to see if they crash, at the point where they didnt crash instantly like before i let them run, for 2-3h, and find stability, then others fine tweeks till i reached for what is seems stability for all 6 to work in harmony. Thanks Again.

Why on the third day of continuously running the shares number starts to decrease about 30%? Why does this miner need a restart every two days or it will perform badly?

Hi. I have an hd7950 and it gives 0.000 MH/s on claymore. I did a google search but I couldn't find anything.
Edit: I fixed it by downloading some beta amd drivers by searching blockchain on amd's site. 10.9MH/s

I also have mixed amd card models, what i do to reinstall drivers is: 1 - amdcleanuputility to remove the old driver 2- install the new driver i want 3- use the atikmdag-patcher right after drive instalation before restarting hope it helps

Forget both Ethereum and Bitcoin and mine Sumokoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905086.0 , https://pool.sumokoin.com/ . It uses the Cryptonote algorithm which takes 25% less electricity costs (some report 30% less) than the Ethash algo, and cards run cooler. If you really want to hold BTC or ETH then just mine Sumokoin (Cryptonote algo) and convert to BTC or ETH. Claymores Cryptonote miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=638915.0Sgminer for Cryptonote: https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm/releases <--- I prefer this one for Cryptonote.
