So on the 19th we get the latest copy of the Claymore miner with the new forked code and install? Or when will we see the new mining software? I would love to be able to minimize my down time with deploying updates. :-)

If you do not solo mine, you do not have to do anything. If you solo mine, you just need to upgrade the go client.

-li low intensity mode. Reduces mining intensity, useful if your cards are overheated. Note that mining speed is reduced too. More value means less heat and mining speed, for example, "-li 10" is less heat and mining speed than "-li 1". You can also specify values for every card, for example "-li 3,10,50". Default value is "0" - no low intensity mode.
Which overheating temperature, this parameter is calculated? On specified in -tstop?

With a WIN7 PC running just GETH and Claymore, why is there several hundred megabytes of disk space consumed every day?
If you point miner on geth than logs (-dbg 0 or -dbg 1 parameter) grow quick enough (about 3-4 Mb/hour). The 2nd disk hungry monster is blockchain database (try to look in c:\users\(your user)\appdata\ethereum). Logs can be swith off (RTFM is a right habbit)))), but blockchain db should be kept. You cannot mine solo otherwise. Thanks, so I will run Claymore with -dbg 1 parameter to stop logs If I don't want to mine solo I can delete c:\users\(your user)\appdata\ethereum? it should be -dbg -1 NOT "-dbg 1" i have a question will that effect production "effective hashrate" when change it to -dbg -1 Thanks that worked perfectly!

Hardware problem with GPU0 that hangs, maybe due to overclocking/downvolting. Either fix it or add -r 1 and a reboot script file to reboot the rig. Miner restart usually does not help in such case.

Anyone how's R9 390 performance in dual mode ETHSIA comparing to ETHDCR? I see huge performance drop on same settings
yeah same! Im running 5 R9 390s in a rig, and running 1055 core 1500 mem I was getting 150MH/s ETH and 4000MH/s DCR. Now with SIA Mining, I'g getting 134MH/s ETH 3370MH/s SIA. Didnt change any settings in the config file. :/ When I switched from ETH/DRC to ETH/SIA my R9 390's started hitting their power limiter which was set to the stock value 0. I removed the power limit by adding -powlim 50 to the config file and the hash rate went to 33MH/s ETH and 495MH/s SIA per card (-cclock 1155 -tt -100 -dcri 30) Check that your power supplies are able to do a bit more, my rig increased it's power consumption by 7.2% with ETH/SIA.

use -dcri 40 on the 390 you should get around 600 SIA. and no loss in etherum hashrate.
-dcri 64 works best on the Nanos 700-800MHASH SIA. and lo loss in etherum hashrate.

Thanks for that, with -drci 40 ETH 32.2MH/s SIA 644MH/s per R9 390 gpu and $ return up 11% according to https://www.whattomine.com/merged_coins/2-eth-sc (if power consumption remains the same). Cheers

Guys,
Is dual mining SIA coins profitable?
how much would I get from SIA mining, if I am doing ETH+SIA dual mining on a 5 x 390 (150MHs)?
I am exclusively just using Claymore for ETH currently.
Thanks
