I got about your results but Claymore said to me on the last page that i have to compare the pool results not the console reading. Right now I started two identical rigs in the very same time one with qtminer and one with claymore's miner  on qtminer mode.

The bottom one is the clyamore's

I need at least 24 hours to make any conclusion but it looks promising now.

Can you keep us posted on your 24H results?

Ok, about 5 hours now:

I have observed similar results over 24hr+.  Invalid shares have dropped to nearly 0, where 1-3% was typical with ethminer (any variant).  And, total submitted shares have definitely increased.

Watching GPU usage %, with claymore they stay at 100% almost all the time.  With genoil or web3 ethminer, there are constant dips to 0%.

Not to mention this miner seems way more stable and consistent.

I do get stupidly high DCR rejects tho (10%+), no matter what difficulty I use.  Hoping the next version with stratum support will improve that. I've tried every pool and they all seem the same. Using 64 diff I can get down to maybe 8% rejects, but round variance is quite high.

yup pretty stable here, my rig with 1400+ valid shares and only 1 invalid.

the only problem here is this miner coming out pretty late  Cheesy

Testing on 4 280x @1050/1500
dcri 25

After 2 hours :
~79.5M on ETH + ~990M on DCR
0 rejected on ETH, ~14% rejected on DCR

~100w more at wall ( 1035w )

With official ETH miner, i'm at ~81-82M

See more after night.

I couldn't have said it better myself,  I was in the process of tinkering with DCR via SGminer meanwhile mining ETH in hopes of benefiting from additional revenue but with little success, when I stumbled upon what is an absolute thing of beauty.  Unfortunately, I also observed a large number of rejected shares for DCR via Coinmine as well as Suprnova no matter the difficulty so if anyone can resolve the matter, this miner would otherwise be incredibly close to perfection.  I managed to reach ~37 MH/s for Ethereum and ~560 for DCR on an MSI 390x which is quite impressive.  I'm currently running on 15.7.1 and was wondering if 15.12 would yield any further performance improvements.

Keep up the great work, you most certainly have something to show for it!

KNOWN ISSUES

- Weak/old cards like 7xxx/270/270X cannot handle dual mining properly, Ethereum mining is slower by about 10-15%.
- There is 1-3% performance issue for some 270/270x and Fury cards. It will be fixed soon.

So what about the 280 and the 280X? Do these also take a Ethereum performance hit?

Also, out of curiosity, concerning the fee: how does the fee work out if I'm dual mining on only some of m cards?

Thanks!

Claymore please consider adding Nvidia support... It shouldn't require much more work as Nvidia cards are OCL compliant.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

I highly suggest to switch to coinmine.pl for DCR.  Choose the diff 8 server, It should help with the rejected shares.  I used to get about 15% rejected on suprnova, but as of now on coinmine it seems to be 5-10%, or even less.  I'll update after it runs at least 24 hours.

And what about global work and 128, 256 options in claymore ? Any chance we can change the assigned values ?  farm recheck ?

As I have said before, there isnt really an improvement in ETH in dual mode, less invalids, but hashrate seems slightly higher or so.  DCR is bonus, so thats good.  I'm going to stick with this miner I think, the added watts is manageable for now.

Also, Mr. Claymore, any chance that I'll be able to mine on a different eth pool ?  I'd like to mine on coinmine.pl for eth too I guess.  but its a user.worker setup.  Unless anyone has other suggestions for pools.  I just dislike mining at a pool where you can't see overall luck, and by blocks.  I like those stats.

edit:  coinmine has lower rejects, but i'm getting some disconnects here and there...

So far on diff 8 : 74 accepted, rejected 3.

Running Claymore's miner for 8 hours on 4x R9 380 (non X) rig, the hash rate on miner shows 80 Mhash/sec, but on the pool (Etehrmine.org) it dropped from 75 Mhash down to 45 Mhash. I switched back to qtminer for a few hours and my pool hash rate returned to normal, so I rebooted the rig and tried the Claymore miner again and within a hour I seen the hash rate going down again. For now I switched back to qtminer.

I was still at 10%+ rejects when I tested coinmine for DCR.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is a solo version planned? I hate pool mining ethereum, it's just not meant for it. Solo works out to be more profitable in every case if you're not impatient.

Thanks for the work, claymore!

After 24 hours testing, 4 380 cards at 1150/1450 in qt-mode mining only ethereum:

total hashrate of the 4 cards, reported by ethermine, rose by 6.6      watts burned increased by 23.  a 3% gain for 3% more cost in this case. That doesnt sound like a win but if it were 12 cards that would be like getting a free bonus 380 card that only uses 69 watts, not counting the deserved devfee.

Dear Claymore.

This night both of my computers mining eth on dwarfpool with your miner 1.2 beta "forgot" their worker names and began to showing as one worker "x" on Dwarfpool statistics. After miner restart on both computers all returned to normal mode.

My run.bat files was following

1.
EthDcrMiner64.exe -di 012 -dcri 20,20,50 -epool eth-ru.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0x92b47a9f6fa83af56ebeb38429bc2382f339f7b3 -epsw x -eworker 7990 -dir f:\Ethash  -dpool dcr.coinmine.pl:2032 -dwal xxx.xxx -dpsw p

2.
EthDcrMiner64.exe -di 01 -dcri 10,10 -epool eth-ru.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0x92b47a9f6fa83af56ebeb38429bc2382f339f7b3 -epsw x -eworker hd7950 -dir c:\Ethash  -dpool dcr.coinmine.pl:2032 -dwal xxx.xxx -dpsw p

It happens 2 or 3 hours ago.
You can see it on my statistics page (not very clear, honestly)

Claymore, what ethi (intensity) parameters correspond to global-work 8192 and 16384 values? Thx.
