It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

OK, so I actually took the time to look through the thread for Claymore's comments on creating a solo version. Seems he wants to do it, but it isn't a priority for him.

Here are good reasons to support solo mining:

Decentralization and overall ETH health (People, get off of dwarf FFS!!)

No loss of revenue due to pool mining. I ALWAYS come out ahead solo mining VS pool mining with ETH, I've done a lot of testing. If you have over 100MH/s and greater patience than a 3 year old, you should SOLO. (eth just isn't made for pool mining with it's crazy fast blocks)

No trust needed in pool operators (hacks, hiding blocks, hidden fees, human error, etc)

Much funner than mining on a pool.

In an ideal world, your solo miner would work with this solo proxy because of the added statistics it provides. Not sure I'd solo without it.

So, I ran 500MH/s on nano/supr in dual mode over night. Love your miner. Switching back to solo, though. Now I await your solo version to switch my 2GH/s over to your miner.

I was posting a few same phrases in the thread about advantages also. Totally agree with you.

Glad to see that there are quite a few people wanting solo mining ability. Hopefully that bumps up priority for Claymore! I'm sure there are quite a few GH/s worth of miners out there that would be happy to pay the 2% fee to use his superior miner solo ETH pool DCR mode.

Still no comment on Nvidia OCL support?

Don't hate the brand, hate the coins. Cry

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

    v 1.2
    important for R9 290/X 390/X, tested at 3x290.
Consumption as compared to ether only above -20%, cards temperature- 5%.
    eth 0% rejected, dcr 5% (2 hour)

                                  profit for 1 day:

  • dcri 20   eth 93      dcr 930     eth 9.7  $    dcr 1.258 $ = 10.958$
  • dcri 30   eth 91.6   dcr 1373    eth 9.56 $   dcr 1.912 $ = 11.472$
  • dcri 40   eth 87.7   dcr 1755    eth 9.15 $   dcr 2.438 $ = 11.588$
  • dcri 50   eth 82.8   dcr 2070    eth 8.64 $   dcr 2.876 $ = 11.516$
  • dcri 60   eth 77.9   dcr 2337    eth 8.13 $   dcr 3.255 $ = 11.385$
  • dcri 100  eth 62     dcr 3103    eth 6.47 $   dcr 4.321 $ = 10.791$

$ figures may vary due to different counting different calculators

He was counting on the exchange rate:
1 eth -8.5$
1 dcr -1.5$

I am using the 1.2 version now. For the old version such as 1.0, I got lots of invalid shares. I change the intensity to 15 instead of 16 in Eth mining. Is that the intended function of the intensity?

Testing on 4 280x @1050/1500
dcri 25

After 2 hours :
~79.5M on ETH + ~990M on DCR
0 rejected on ETH, ~14% rejected on DCR

~100w more at wall ( 1035w )

With official ETH miner, i'm at ~81-82M

See more after night.

17.4% rejected after 11h30 running ...
Not sure it's a good deal finally.

Better with changing suprnova port for DCR.
7.69% rejected after 45mn.

eth -intensity  15 rejects 0

dcr -intensity 20

dcr diff 64 supr rejects 0

i think its about balance between the intensitys....

and ofcorse diff 64

1. It seems GPU thread hangs, so its speed is not updated. I will add timestamp on latest speed value and miner will show "0" speed if that time is too old. Also I will add watchdog for miner autorestart.

Please make choice of restarting whole computer. When GPU hangs (repeating exactly same hashrate for 3+ times) and I restart miner, GPU that was hanging starts hashing with exactly half speed. GPU reset via TRIXX has no effect. If I reboot, than everything is normal again. Thx.

Miner in the dough a little more than a day. It's okay for now. Over time, fading farm name on the pool. Usually after work to the author.
Supernova and stable work https: //dcr.maxminers.net and https://pool.mn/dcr. Less mistakes.

If you mean, that the miner suddenly stops sending worker name, then I confirm. Just saw this. It should be rig1 and rig2. But actually looks like an empty name.

I confirm this also.

Not even just dropping workername .... could even get the shares to my balance... even though miner said he is happely sending shares ... claymore pls fix this... restarting the client here and than cannot be the solution

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

+1 Sometimes just restarting doesn't help. It could be an option

-forcereboot X

X - number of attempts to restart the thread with no effect. If X=0 then "never"
