Claymore, with your monitoring app, you should also create an android/iOS app which can give us full control of the rigs, including restarting, push-notification alerts, etc.  Maybe even rig config too (clock speed, pool settings, etc). I'd be willing to pay for your app if you could do something like that.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I mentioned web server, it is for that.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I mentioned web server, it is for that.

I'm just worried that its gonna be a local web server within the LAN of the mining farm.  I can't be bothered to setup dynamic IP hosting and configuring my firewall etc for accessing the stats page on the web server when i'm outside.  If you could create something that can push the data from the rigs to your server and then to the app on my iPhone, that would be awesome.  Realtime stats on all rigs.  Click on a rig name to get detailed stats on that particular machine.  Group/individual config for pools. etc etc.

Yes it will be local server. Accessing it from outside is a completely separate task.

If you could setup a remote server to do this, me (and i'm sure many other farm owners) would be more than happy to click on an in-app purchase to have this working for us.  It would make management a hell of a lot easier! You could charge according to the amount of rigs running on that person's farm.  Having something like this would be a godsend.

Another feature that i'd like to suggest is a way to for us to identify which card on a rig relates to the GPU number.  The only way I can think of doing this would be, for example, if you hit CTRL+0, then it will adjust GPU#0's FAN to 100% while adjusting all other GPU fans on that rig to 5% for 15 seconds, that way we can know that GPU0 will be the card on the rig thats running the fans at full speed.  This would be a huge help with troubleshooting hardware.

Can second this - GPU ordering is totally wack in this miner.  GPU-Z, Afterburner, etc seem to show the GPUs in a totally different order.

True, one can always see temps in the miner and try to match them in gpu-z to see "what's what".

Hi! Claymore.
Are there any news on solomining option and + getting the jobs out of geth running aside?
thank you
peace

I'm working on a 3-in-1 utility:
1. pool proxy for my miner (allows to change settings/pools easily for large farms).
2. proxy for solo mode.
3. Monitoring/management + web server for monitoring.

Solo will be available with this utility - you point all your rigs to this utility and point this utility to geth.
Hope to release first version in a few days.

Next update will be available within 24 hours and will include CRC check for DAGs (no more corrupted DAGs) and Failover.

Thumbs up for #2 !

Just wondering, #2 will be dual-mining mode with DCR correct?

I can't figure it out either.  If I use only decred cmd switches I get an error.

Thanks to who ever has the answer.

Thanks for the info.

"This miner is free-to-use, however, current developer fee is 1% for Ethereum-only mining mode (-mode 1) and 2% for Ethereum+Decred mining mode (-mode 0), every hour the miner mines for 36 or 72 seconds for developer.
Decred is mined without developer fee.
If you don't agree with the dev fee - don't use this miner."

The way this is worded it sounds like there may have been a planned or undocumented decred only mode. Even if there was a developer fee I would be interested in a decred only mode. The two cards I have running in dual mode have less rejects than the 1 I have running with cgminer.

I think it's best for Mr Claymore to attend to your request for DCR only mode.

Perhaps, you should explore other mining app other than your current on, if you want to do stand-alone DCR mining (ccminer, sgminer etc)

Btw, the DCR mining pool is also a big factor in getting those rejects down. Also, Stratum compliant pools are preferred.

In my opinion, this Dual Miner by Claymore is a perfect way to increase revenue in mining 2 x coins at the same time using the same hardware - the combination of fast blocks in ETH and slow blocks of DCR, make this dual-miner unique as basically ROIs my investment in GPUs faster.

Thumbs up to Mr Claymore's excellent dual-miner!

Cant wait for the ETH solo mode version.

Code:
I am new to mining.
I have been running ethOS on a couple machines (http://539eaf.ethosdistro.com/#), so I have been able to muddle my way through beginners Linux. (once I found out nano was the text editor  ::) )

I have an SSD with Windows 10 on the way and I am hoping to be prepared to make the change when it arrives later this week. I think I am close  ??? and 2 weeks from now (when I switch my other rig) this will be easy.

So from here - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B69wv2iqszefdFZUV2toUG5HdlU
I download this - Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred AMD GPU Miner v3.2 Beta - POOL Catalyst 15.12.zip
unzip that, then -

I need a quick primer on using Command Prompt
How do I edit a file?
What file do I edit?
Looks like this right?

runme.bat
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -esm 1 -ewal 0x073572819f00d3c6bbad77e6a8f247303414e4ed -epsw x -dpool -eworker Abcedarian.JG1221 -epsw x stratum+tcp://stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal TsdUrZVC36SrWP6hudytm7jxkrP3WEWW8b1 -dpsw x --tt85 -dcri 20 -r 0

Then I am ready to start?

I am getting this error at Supernova.pool Huh

-  Failed to update your account: Invalid coin address

The address is from- https://wallet.decred.org/#/
Am I supposed to mine to something other than my decred wallet?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

This is my command line:

Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0x2c988a9d1b730520ad270ed0ec68a77dbe2f0264/PC -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal Trimegisto.PC -dpsw x -tt 75 -dcri 20 -r 0

Notice that I don't use a decred address... On suprnova you must create a worker (Trimegisto.PC) with a pass (x) and use them to login. You will use the DCR address in your account configuration to tell suprnova where to send your earnings.

Got it?

guys, i am still getting only rejects on whatever pool i use. i already deleted DAGs several times. and after some time my PC crashes and restarts with Claymore miner. ethminer and qtminer are just working just fine.

I didnt overclock the cards or smth. PSU has still enough room to breath  Grin

switched back to qtminer, but would like to use claymores.

hope any1 has an idea?! thx in advance

Thanks for the command line.

So now I have -

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -esm 1 -ewal 0x073572819f00d3c6bbad77e6a8f247303414e4ed -epsw x -dpool -eworker Abcedarian.JG1221 -epsw <password> stratum+tcp://stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal -dpsw x --tt85 -r1

-dcri will be default to start

I will keep hashing away at. Thanks.
Still not sure how to or where to edit. Checking youtube ...

Yes I am trying to add the dcr address under account details at Supernova Huh
